Moose River Campground
Moose River Campground allows pets for no additional fee. However, if you are caught not picking up after your dog, you will be fined $25. If you see anyone not picking up after their dog, you will get that $25. Pets need to be on a leash at all times to and from your car/RV and cannot be left unattended. Excessive barking is not acceptable, and leashes cannot to exceed 8 feet. Please do not tie pets to trees. Cats are welcome, but must remain in your RV, unless they are comfortable walking on a leash. Visitors are not allowed to bring their pets.

Moose River Campground is located in the Saint Johnsbury, Vermont maple country. Their spacious campsites are nestled along a curve of the Moose River, a rocky, scenic river originating high in the hills of East Haven, Vermont. They are the perfect place to base yourselves while touring the many attractions in the area. They offer plenty of planned activities every weekend, and nature presents a remarkable show every minute and around every turn!

Moose River is in a fabulous location near everything we would want to do. We visited Dog Mountain almost daily! Moose River is truly pet-friendly with owners and guests who appreciate well-behaved pets. They are also friendly, offering as much social or private time as desired. It was quiet, clean, very well-maintained. The location is prime and I can't wait to go back and visit!
