This well wooded campground had its pros and cons. While it was a beautiful spot on the lakes edge, the wind was intense at times. This may have just been the week we went or it may be a geographical phenomenon due to the surrounding mountains. Our site was C1, one of three dog-friendly cabins. The cabin was clean and had a small bathroom and fridge. Unfortunately the mattresses, though appeared to be thick enough, provided absolutely no support or comfort. Bring something with you to supplement. We purchased an air mattress the next day. This cabin site is great for a dog. It’s a bit isolated due to a gully, the lake and a hill behind. There was a small yet nice dog park for our Charlie to run and stretch his long legs. Overall it was a positive experience.
