Charlie at Nantucket’s
NantucketsNice place. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Charlie was well behaved. Unfortunately no doggie options on menu.
Charlie’s First Camping Advevture
Terrace Pines Camping AreaThis well wooded campground had its pros and cons. While it was a beautiful spot on the lakes edge, the wind was intense at times. This may have just been the week we went or it may be a geographical phenomenon due to the surrounding mountains. Our site was C1, one of three dog-friendly cabins. The cabin was clean and had a small bathroom and fridge. Unfortunately the mattresses, though appeared to be thick enough, provided absolutely no support or comfort. Bring something with you to supplement. We purchased an air mattress the next day. This cabin site is great for a dog. It’s a bit isolated due to a gully, the lake and a hill behind. There was a small yet nice dog park for our Charlie to run and stretch his long legs. Overall it was a positive experience.
Great Food
Harley Jacks Burgers and BrewsThis was a nice spot with some distant mountain view’s. Abundant menu and everything tasted great. Charlie got a bowl of water from the server and he relaxed as we ate.
Great food and service
Sea Dog Brewing CompanyWe enjoyed a nice meal and since we were celebrating our boy Charlie’s gotcha day, he got a hamburger and ice cream from the doggie menu.
The staff was wonderful, and accommodating to our big boy. He even made a doggie friend at the next table.
