Description
A charming oceanside cottage overlooking Cape Split Harbor is available for vacation rentals year round. Located in a quiet, remote fishing village, the cottage is only one hour and fifteen minutes northeast of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and forty-five minutes southwest of Machias. The cottage has beautiful views of the harbor from the panoramic windows in the living room. It also has delightful gardens stocked with Shasta daisies, rose campions and pansies (to name a few). There is garden furniture on the lawn overlooking the flower beds and the ocean. There also is a porch with furniture on the front of the house for morning coffee in the sun. Enjoy fresh vegetables from our organic garden. Equipped with all modern conveniences (oil central heating, washer, dryer, television, microwave, coffee maker and blender) the cottage is very comfortable. It sleeps from two to five although it would be more comfortable for smaller groups such as two or four.
