Description
Located four miles from downtown Bar Harbor and one and-a-half miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park, this spacious post and beam house overlooking a pristine meadow provides a perfect environment for you and your family to spend your vacation. The house is set well back from Route 3 providing a safe and private place for kids to play and adults to relax, while still providing easy access to the attractions of the island. The L. L. Bean Island Explorer bus is free of charge and will pick you up at the end of the driveway to take you into town, Acadia National Park, or anywhere else on the island you wish to go, and drop you off at the end of the day. The interior of the house is beautifully hand-crafted post and beam with nine-foot ceilings. The master bedroom is upstairs and has its own private bathroom. The South side has numerous windows, allowing for natural light during the days while you are relaxing in the living room.
