Description
Canopache (Wampanoag Indian word for 'place of peace') Brand new 2600 square foot home, completed in October of 2003. You can hear the sound of the surf from this upside down house on 3 acres with cathedral ceilings, tons of sunlight and sweeping ocean views. Warm, light, open, airy and peaceful describe this inviting getaway. Top floor has an open floor plan, fireplace and cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining room, master suite with cathedral ceiling and balcony, and kitchen which has Corian counters, maple butcher block island with Italian glass pendants. Living room opens up to a large deck with 180 degree ocean views. First floor has a large entryway,3 bedrooms, den with a daybed and terrace doors that open to the second deck. Outdoors there is a large private yard with hydrangeas, beach roses, stone walls and walkways, wild flowers and a large yard with a great outdoor shower. It is a short walk to the ocean and 6 miles to town.
