The Hotel Orca Praia is located on the side of a cliff overlooking a small sand and shingle beach and with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel is just 22 kms from the airport and 6 kms from the centre of Funchal. You can stroll to the tourist area where you will find a variety of shops bars and restaurants. The Hotel will appeal to those looking for a good quality hotel offering plenty to do in a tranquil location. However access to the pool area is steep so we do not recommend this property for those with mobility difficulties.

Safe Stay: Hotel Orca Praia has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and meets the Clean & Safe (Portugal) certification for safety and sanitation. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
