Welcoming reception staff, well-maintained warm breakfast, clean room with standard amenities, comfortable beds. As a dog owner, my only issue is the lack of green space for potty breaks or a quick game of fetch. We usually drive 5 min down to the Capitol building lawn to give the dog a good run after a long day of driving. We've heard there's a dog park nearby as well but neither are within a convenient 10-min walk of the hotel.

The staff here is very congenial. It looked as though the building was at full capacity, yet our stay was quiet and restful. The housekeeping crew seemed to be cheerful each time we saw them. They did an excellent job (our room was nice and clean). It was nice to be in the building. The overflow parking area behind the Shell Gas station could use better lighting so I was with my wife and dog whenever we went in or out there. The good outweighed the few things that I won’t even mention, that we noticed might be a problem for some. We were ALWAYS treated with kindness and respect. Sugar was a very happy dog here, even though the pet walk area is small. There are nice places a few minutes drive if you need a larger area for a walk. It was not an issue for us, but the pool structure is under construction, and there is no pool. We will stay here the next time we come through Bismarck. Special thanks to the breakfast hostess for a job well done!

Wonderful Hotel. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They have bags for cleaning up after your pet available for you outside. Nice pet area. Normally our pets have issues with sounds and barking in the middle of the night when staying at other hotels. We never had an issue during our stay until morning when they heard other dogs.

Ongoing significant renovation which negatively impacts access. Interior & staff were fine. Very small grassy area for dog relief and essentially no alternative exercise available. Would not stay there again.
