    Nice stay

The finest hotel!! Beautiful rooms, neighborhood park at back door and a green space for secure potty needs at night. Included a bone and toy at check-in!!

    Perfect for dogs and humans!

Upon arrival we were greeted and promptly handed a new dog toy! There’s a nice enclosed dog run that was very clean! Rooms are super clean and the food upstairs at the Apothecary is scrumptious! Definitely deserves a 5 bone rating! We have stayed here two years in a row, and will stay again.

    Our dog loved it!

Our pup was given a toy and a treat upon arrival. The hotel has an enclosed grassy play yard, and is also next door to a lovely park. The hotel itself is lovely. Our only disappointment was that dogs are not allowed on the rooftop patio.

    Loved it!

We’ve saved the name for future travel. Small boutique hotel with enclosed dog run. Perfect for our stay. We’ll definitely stay again.

    Not so great

Many things were clunky about this hotel and I thought it was to be a classy experience for us and our dogs. Not. First getting there. Kind of round about to get to the front door. Upon registering I was asked to initial in several spots in 2 pages of pet rules. Then I was given 2 rooms at the farthest end of the property from the adjacent dog park and told only have your dogs “do their business” only in the dog park area. Granted it is a nice green small dog run but there were a lot of green spaces between my room and the dog run. This guy kept going on and on about where the dogs could be and couldn’t be (not in any of the other grass areas) and his tone was not in a welcoming way.

There is a city park behind the building and a funky neighborhood to walk around in which made for a nice stroll thank goodness. The rooms were small, no space for a crate and barely room for dogs and my duffle bag. The bathroom was fair sized though. Bed was reasonable yet the A/C didn’t seem to hold the temp so it made for an uncomfortable night. As my room faced the parking area the cars beeping and their doors shutting had my dogs on guard all night. There was no assistance with bags to & from rooms. All in all I’d call it barely dog tolerant.

    Wonderful

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful finished, large room full of natural light, a beautiful big bathroom and pleasant staff. A fenced in doggie area and a little park out back made this a wonderful stay. If you're on the left side of the hotel (which I was), you can hear the road noise, but the bed was so comfy I still slept great!

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at

The room was on the small side, but every detail was thought out. The bar upstairs had excellent small plates. The fenced in dog area was convenient.

    Beautiful hotel, very disappointing experience

We were so much looking forward to staying in this hotel, and had booked a room with a king sized bed, as we have 2 medium sized dogs, one of whom likes to sleep with us. Plus, we are both tall, and are used to sleeping in a king. Upon arrival, we were told by the woman at check-in that they were overbooked due to a wedding. Since we had booked via a "third party website" (BringFido), the manager had decided that we would be demoted to a smaller room in an annex. This in itself was no problem for us, it was very quiet in the annex.

BUT...the room was tiny, very dark, and the bed was a FULL (double) sized bed, not even a queen. Pretty small for 2 tall people and a 45lb dog! We went back to reception and complained, and were told that the manager was not there, but had made the decision, and so too bad. The room was so small that it was difficult to fit the soft side fold up crate that our other dog (also 45lb) sleeps in. Needless to say, not a good night's sleep. This was in early September. We were traveling cross-country (CA to FL), over 400 miles a day, and had booked over a week ahead. We had to really badger them to waive the pet fee, but other than that, they were not willing to give any discount on the room, and it is not a cheap hotel. So disappointing, I will not be back, nor do I recommend the place.

    Wonderful place to stay!

We normally stay at chain type hotels on ours trips across the country. Due to last minute planning we found ourselves at this hotel. It is something special when traveling with dogs. We have two standard size doodles and it can be difficult to find a clean hotel that allows big dogs. This hotel even has a small outside area, with grass, where your dog can have some off leash time! Room was outstanding and bed really comfortable. definitely will make it back here again!

    Great experience!

I have nothing but great things to say about Hotel Parq Central! It was one of the best dog friendly hotels we have stayed at and we travel quite a bit with our 2 dogs. They were given dogs treats and toy when we checked in. They have a small dog run where you can take your dog off leash. We loved that we could leave the dogs unattended in the room as they are quiet and we kennel them. Outside of the dog friendly aspects, the hotel is beautiful with a really interesting history. The roof top lounge and outside Jacuzzi were added benefits. Grounds are well kept and hotel is located in a convenient area. Highly recommend.

    Good stay in Albuquerque

This hotel is a gem, not only for humans but for pets as well. By the number of dogs we encountered on our stay, it is clear this is truly a "pet friendly" hotel. Aside from the pet friendly ambience, this is one cool hotel. Lots of very interesting history to this property. Rooms are ok, ours was a little small considering we travel with Carly Simon a 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog. Very clean, quiet and lots of green space within walking distance of the hotel.

    Charming

We were very impressed. This hotel was a 1920 hospital that has been beautifully restored to create a very special experience we didn’t expect. Decor is modern with touches of elegance. Overall, the hotel has a stately look throughout but inside the feeling is warm and friendly. The rooftop bar is lovely and should not be missed. Must mention that we enjoyed that the hotel thought about guests with dogs and has its own grassy, fenced dog run within the grounds.

I can see why the reviews are 50/50.

We noticed that the other reviews were swinging between Love and Hate for this property. Our experience was good, not great. The building is beautiful. The owners put a lot into the restoration and remodel and it shows. Modern, clean and inviting public spaces. The pet friendly room was perfect, very comfortable and it was very clean. Access to a grassy area was the best we’ve seen in any hotel. That said... We were traveling during Covid restrictions but that doesn’t really explain away all of this... We arrived to no bellman, not cart. Traveling with a Dog, Dog Crate, Dog food, and all our own luggage. They have a Bell Cart but can’t find it.... No offer of help. We sheep it all to our room on our own. Oh - and no fuzzy warm greeting for us nor our pet. No swag bag for the pet like we saw in other reviews. The receptionist sort of shoved a small toy toward us with one small milk one and a few Poop bags. That was it. No conversation about how cute our Dog Riley is, now “what’s his name?” Nothing. Later we discovered the onsite restarant was closed and we could not get access to a microwave.

    GREAT HOTEL FOR DOGS!!

We were so excited this beautiful hotel allowed dogs! We brought our 12 week old puppy with us to travel and she was treated like a queen! I do recommend calling ahead and telling them you're bringing a dog so they have everything ready for your fur baby. We got there and they didn't have anything in our room for her so we just went to the desk and ask and they gave her a cute hedgehog toy, a roll of poopie bags, a handful of milkbones, and typically they have a bed but didn't have one available. No worries because we travel with one. What we LOVED is we were given a room on the first floor that was right next to the door to the stairs to pop out to their courtyard with a grassy area for Olive to do her business. Overall, we loved this hotel for us and for our sweet baby!

    The best

I cant say enough good about this hotel. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Beautifully maintained grounds, including an enclosed dog run. Great treats for the dogs at check in. And the food at the bar is worth waiting for ,.

    Haunted

I was unsure of how to review this place. It's beautiful, staff is incredibly friendly (they gave my pup a complimentary toy and treat on arrival), the courtyard is dog friendly and there's a trendy bar on site. However, after getting an uneasy vibe on arrival, I found out Hotel Parq Central is infamous for being one of the most haunted hotels in NM - I'll let you decide and google it for yourselves. However, if the paranormal is something that intrigues you and/or you don't subscribe to that belief, 5/5 bones, can't rave enough about the dog friendly atmosphere and staff!

    Cool building, good location

Neat historic building, fenced in dog run, adjacent to a nice park for on leash walking. After reading the other reviews on Bring Fido i was excited to stay here with my 2 dogs. I was a little less than impressed with our check in process—despite booking through Bring fido & noting on the reservation we had 2 dogs joining us the gal at the desk was surprised. As a result we didn’t get the rockstar treatment for the pooches as other people have written about. There was a scramble to make copies of the pet waiver, the gal picked up a toy and said-we only have one left to another gal behind the desk and instead of giving my dogs a toy put it back in the cabinet. Um...ok we brought a crate and toys and were set...but honestly the reason I selected this hotel was the impression that dogs are rockstars here. We provided our own dog bed and bowls, but on the pet waiver it lools like that is what is included in the pet fee. None of these items were offered to us - I’m now wondering if we were supposed to ask for the things listed as part of the pet fee.

. So aside from check in / check out it was a nice night. I’ll go back if I’m passing through town again, but my expectations will be lower next time.

    PAWferct place

This hotel is 100% dog friendly! Hotel workers treat out fluffy lady as a rock star or even better.
They welcomed al of us very nicely, especially our dog, She got a lot of treats and complimentary Nylabone bone toy. She called in love with this toy.
The hotel has well designed off-leash DOG PARK! (dog waste station is included) Every morning I grabbed a cup of coffee in the kitchen and went out to play with my dog.
All guests were friendly to my dog too.

The hotel itself is interesting. It was rebuilt from a hospital, and definetly has a story! Every night we all chilled out near fireplace with wine and doggy treats, or went upstairs into the small bar in the top floor. The view is gorgeous.

Breakfast was nice. Nothing special, but tasty. The only one my concern is room size. It was a bit small for 2 people and one large dog.
    Anyway, this place is excellent
