I just loved this lodge! The wood beams, the winding stairs, the coziness. Beware there’s no air conditioning (which we did wish for), but we had everything we needed in stock.

Mammoth Lakes is a lovely town. We had been on a long road trip from Mexico heading to Canadian border. The lodge took us in on a last-minute reservation. Humble furnishings, but clean and cozy.

Older place but clean, warm and well situated. I’m not the one to focus on the things that are needed or that are wrong. It’s just an average place and it has its clientele I would imagine. Seems like we were the only ones in the whole place!

The rental had everything the pups and I needed and loved the wood fireplace to relax with. Big outside area for the dogs to do their business at as well.

A pleasant stay in a circa 1950s rustic studio. The room was clean and simple—bed, cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, and silverware, with a small dining area—everything you’d need for your stay. Check-in was contactless and great for preventing COVID. Staff was friendly and helpful, just a phone call away. A great place to stay for those who like a little character. Not for those who want a corporate motel/hotel experience. The grounds had a community gas barbecue and picnic area. Also, a Jacuzzi that was closed due to COVID. There were larger cabins that would offer more privacy and amenities. Would like to stay in one of those during a future visit.
