Very cozy B&B that has dog friendly rooms and even an option for a dog walker. Made our ski trip so much more convenient, the hosts are great, breakfast was amazing. The only issue we had was no fault of the hotel, instead our dog decided to be a jerk and bark at all the other dogs which was probably annoying for the other guests.

We've never stayed at a more inviting and accommodating place that loves your dog as much as you do. Darren, Lynne, Anna, and Geena were so good to us, and don't worry about things you may have dealt with at other places that allow your pet. To wake up next to the trout stream every morning was escapism at its best!

We loved this pet friendly place! The owners are great and the employees are very accommodating! Great breakfast every morning and they were even open to special requests! The Trout River Suite is great for the best views of the river! Our dog loved it!

My husband and I live in Vermont about an hour south of Phineas Swan and we have been here 4 times already. There is so much to do around here outdoors and we feel so supremely relaxed at this B&B that we can leave all of our troubles at home. Another reason we LOVE this place is because Darren and Lynn (the owners) are SO dog friendly. You can't imagine a more dog friendly place. Most if not all of the other guests there also tend to LOVE dogs and our dog got SO MUCH LOVE!! And there were a lot of other dogs there as well to give love to as well. They offer such great amenities for the dogs as well- two bowls in the room, a dog bed, and dog treats in the room. You can bring your dog to breakfast if you sit outside! We love it here and will be back.

I took my kids and dog for a week long trip to northern VT, and the Phineas Swann was amazing for the humans and the dog! Darren and Lynn are wonderful and they made our dog (a large greyhound) feel at home and welcome the whole time. He loved sleeping at the feet of my bed in the comfy bed they provided for him. They had bowls for him and offered to walk him as well. The dog stayed comfortably and safely in the suite while we explored the area and we never felt bad or worried that the dog was an inconvenience. Also, everything smells really good at The Phineas Swann - no odor or yuck factor like I've experienced in other dog friendly places. I will definitely go again.
