Amazing cottage in the heart of the city!

I enjoyed my stay in the Hayward Cottage. It had all the amenities and more, than I could have hoped for! It was absolutely perfect because I could have my dog stay will me instead of boarding her. She was in heaven in the garden area just right off of the kitchen/sitting area. I could just open the door and let her out, or I could sit out there with my morning coffee while she explored. We will definitely be return guests and refer our friends!

My wife and I stayed at Rosemont cottages last September. We have 2 basset hounds and they absolutely loved it. Tons of dog parks within 15 minutes. Pet friendly restaurants and state park all over. Cottage itself was awesome- literally felt like we were at home. It was very clean and you get a fenced in backyard. Also the price was spot on. We will definitely be coming back- hopefully this year.

    Great for Large Breeds!

First trip with both dogs (German Shepard and Golden Retriever) and we were all graciously welcomed! Great walking areas around Inn (both for dogs and humans to grab a bite of delicious food)! Great hostess with a wonderful breakfast and beautiful accommodations for large dog beds. We will most definitely check back into the Inn when we visit again for a hiking trip with the pups!

    Shih Tzu love

I stay regularly at the Rosemont. It has become my home away from home for both business and pleasure. This is all made possible because of our wonderful hostess Susan, and her welcoming attitude for myself, Chloe and Cusco, my furry companions.
We've stayed in-house and in the Mays and Gardeners cottages. It's easy, relaxed and fun for all of us. I know it makes travel just that much more convenient and joyful for me because I can bring my own touch of home with me. It's a great vacation for the Shih Tzus too! Thanks again from the 3 C's, Cindy, Chloe, and Cusco

    Luxury & large dogs

We stayed in Barkley cottage and could not be happier. Traveling with two large, aging German Shepherds has become increasingly difficult. Rosemont is a wonderful place to stay and doesn't charge a punitive rate for pets. Barkley cottage has just 3 steps to the yard which was important for hips that don't always work and plenty of space for over sized dog beds. The backyard was the best dog feature; A 6 foot privacy fence with locked gates, big trees and sturdy (!) shrubs. We were able to leave the dogs outside without worry.
The cottage was also lovely and comfortable. We would very happily stay here without pets! Breakfast was delivered in a large basket and was so abundant and delicious, we had food left for a morning snack.
Susan is delightful. She gave us great advise about navigating downtown so we made the most of our time and really enjoyed our trip.
No problem with instructions for finding the cottage. In fact, the detailed instructions my husband printed were one of his favorite features. Highly recommended!

A Bed & Breakfast, Dogs Welcome

I've done several road trips with my golden retriever, and while she's an excellent hotel guest (OK, I'm biased), I had never expected to be able to stay in a bed & breakfast with her. Rosemont Inn is an excellent place with an owner who genuinely likes dogs. Clean, well-appointed rooms, with an excellent breakfast in the morning. Stayed two nights, and it could not have been much better. Highly recommended even for someone not trraveling with a pet.

    Charming cottage

Lovely cottage, carefully refurbished and thoughtful furnished in a historic district. I loved walking in and feeling so at home. My dog felt that way as well. This would be a perfect place for a winter time honeymoon, with it's fireplace and deep bathtub, complete with robes. Though it was more than I had budgeted for, it was quite worth the money. I would have stayed a second night but for the fact that when the refrigerator motor came on it sounded like a jet engine warming up. That's a bit of an exaggeration but it was not something I could ignore. One tip: follow the owner's instructions and read the second e-mail carefully. I didn't and got stressed out because I had programmed my GPS for the main house instead of noting that the cottages are near but on a perpendicular street. Also, I had not taken note of the fact that breakfast is not included, which made sense once you see the set-up. It would have been helpful if, with those thorough instructions, the owner had noted not only the name but specified left or right as it was dark and the name plates were impossible to see from the street. Mine was Windsor, which was on the right.Cross-posted on TripAdvisor.

    Charming B&B

I loved my stay at Rosemont! The owner was so sweet and friendly. The room and house were very clean, cozy and well decorated. The food was excellent. In all, it just made for a relaxing, lovely weekend!
