Reviews
- ReeceApr 29, 2024Close to the park
Very close to Bryce Canyon and is a bed to sleep on. Rooms and amenities need updating. They give you breakfast coupons for the restaurant next door but it wasn’t open both days we went. From the reviews the breakfast isn’t good when it is open.
- SueApr 13, 2024As expected for price paid
The room was clean and what one should expect for lower nightly rental. Good outdoor space for dogs. Restaurant was not open which was disappointing. Should read seasonal only. There were some good restaurants nearby within short driving distance however.
- KenSep 28, 2023Great Location
Hotel was clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the restaurant and having our dog. Made us eat outside, which I understand, but really weren't setup well for service. The host ended up waiting on us and was excellent.
- ShareeOct 15, 2021Musty smell
Really old building with 1970s decor. Room smelled musty. Water went out to entire building. Awful experience.
- BarbAug 13, 2021Redefines the word resort
This is a mom & pop motel and one in dire need of maintenance at that. Spent hours swatting all the flies in the room which reappeared each time the door was opened. Front desk persons response was "yea, it's fly season" Didn't have a fly swatter on site though. Don't know when the windows were last washed but it wasn't 2021. Had to leave bath door closed and A/C unit on to muffle the sound of water running thru pipes. Not necessarily the owners issue but was never mentioned that there was a 24 hour road construction project if front of the motel including generator driven light banks and trucks constantly beeping as they backed into position. Room was pretty clean though and the bed was decent. To their credit we were reimbursed for a scheduled second night as my wife was livid about the fly issue which was not just here but every stop we made in the Bryce Canyon area.
- KennethMay 1, 2021Bad location
Major construction going on and poor selection of restaurants near by.
- SusanOct 24, 2020Good Hospitality
This hotel had great hospitality. The folks that work here were very accommodating and the rooms were clean. We stayed 2 nights and there is no daily cleaning service due to Covid but the front desk is more than happy to provide you with anything you need, i.e fresh towels, sheets, ice etc. It is a convenient location but very close to the highway. A couple negatives would be that that the grounds are very run down and the rooms were adequate but a little tired. The breakfast was plentiful and decent. We had scrambled eggs, ham, juice and fruit and it is provided by the restaurant next door. Our dog was welcome and most of the rooms are on the ground floor and that makes it easier with the dog.
- TDec 29, 2019Average. Convenient.
I booked this hotel based upon three things: the location, no size restrictions for pet guests, and the price. I was not expecting much from this hotel where I was only staying one night. The room was clean and very basic with southwestern themed bedding. I like that I could park very close to my room, which is easier for me with a giant dog. I appreciated the coffee maker in the room, and complimentary breakfast buffet. They did charge a resort fee, though I'm not really sure what that included. I'd stay here again when going to Bryce Canyon NP.
- MistyOct 1, 2019Convenient and clean
Good location with restaurant on site, (as well as a subway next door if the restaurant has a wait). Rooms are clean but definitely had a rustic feel. If I’m being picky they could use a few more outlets for charging devices—particularly by the bed. The TV was a Roku TV which was limited to just a few channels picked up on Antenna unless you are comfortable logging into your personal Netflix etc. but then again how much tv are we really watching there? If you’re traveling with a pet your options in the area are extremely limited. I’m grateful they’re there for those of us who like to bring our furry family members along, so I don’t feel like I should be too critical. Just happy they’re there!
