Safe Stay: The New Pioneer has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Hand sanitizer is provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.

The hotel charged a 75 non-refundable cleaning fee for dogs (in addition to a refundable 75 dollar fee), which is a total rip off as the room looked and smelled like it had not a good cleaning in years. The red stains on my bed spread, the pungent smell of body odor and beer, and the hair in he bathtub confirmed my suspicions.

Our room faced the river. Plenty of grass and a small beach to enjoy. Our room had a divider door so you could hear the neighbors. If your dog is a barker this could be an issue. Best poop bags ever. A lot of poop stations available. The rooms are pet friendly but in poor quality so I am not sure why there is a pet fee of $75. The dresser in our room was missing handles. Staff is friendly.

The only reason why we booked here so that we can take our babies. We were booked for two nights three days. The check in process was pretty easy. But when It came to the room it was disgusting. I guess you get what you pay for!! That’s a true statement. We only stayed one night and checked out first thing in the morning. It was very noisy and unsuitable for my babies and myself. The first thing I did when I got home was shower. I won’t tell you every single thing about the room because it will take up to many paragraphs. But Laughlin was great!! Had a good time for the 18 hours that I was there but I will never never stay at the new Pioneer ever again. Would I ever recommend the New Pioneer, NO WAY..

You get what you pay for. Room served its purpose. And they welcome dogs which is why we stayed there.
