Highlands Inn Lodge has dog friendly rooms but you get changed a nightly fee of $35. You can leave your dog in your room uncaged without any problems if you coordinate taking your dog out of the room in the morning while housekeeping occurs. They don’t provide dog bowls, beds or treats. There’s a mini fridge in the room if you need it for dog food and a microwave in the lobby. While I was visiting, a bear came up to the hotel entrance door and was walking around the parking lot, so be careful taking your dog out. In terms of looks, I wasn’t a fan of this hotel. I didn’t have a bad experience but wouldn’t pick this hotel again.
