    Location fine it’s everything else

Place smells bad by elevator like urine. Pools are small. Any dogs acceptable there and bark a lot.

Right on boardwalk which would ha e been nice if not for the homeless, meth heads and others. For the price of $100 a night with fees and all. I find a better choice especially if you have a family. Cops don’t patrol boardwalk hardly at all. I did enjoy the free dvds and the beach

Other than you can bring a large dog here there is nothing good about this place. Place was filthy garbage everywhere . People were very shady around there lots of drug deals. We saw a guy assaulting a women at 5am over drugs. Bad place they need to clean up there act.

    They Don’t Allow Certain Breeds

We were going to book here.. despite some of the nasty reviews.. and they don’t allow “aggressive breeds” being pit bulls, which we have.. dobermans, boxers, Rottweilers, or German Shepard’s.

    Absolutely horrible.

    Bermuda Sands, Myrtle Beach, Sc

Great spot, but to many people have no respect when it comes to having out of control dogs, throwing trash everywhere and cig butts. otherwise it was good. place a bit outdated., but ok. Also the charges was more then they posted on the sign.

A little dated but for the price it’s a great choice.

We have stayed here twice before and had no issues; third time and brought family with us and the room was filled with mold all over the walls and ceiling. Told the front desk and had to wait 2 more hours for another room to be ready; no accommodations made at all and had two dogs with us. We will not be back at all anymore. Major let down and disappointment.

    Skip This Dump!

To start off... The room is disgusting! You are fighting roaches and flies! Had to buy roach stray! I found garage on the balcony! The table out there looks like it was on fire at some point! The chairs are nasty filthy! You can’t sit on them! The curtain is beyond nasty! The bathroom is in bad shape with cigarette burns all over the room! No toilet paper holder so the toilet paper sits on the nasty counter! In the kitchen area the “wood” floor smells of urine! I am grossed out to let my dogs onto the floor to be honest! maids came in once but didn’t even make the beds! Just changed the towels!

We didn’t even use the pool because honestly we feared getting sick from it. Just don’t trust this facility to maintain the chemicals!

The front desk said there are no other rooms! Very nasty customer service. When I called on the phone after I got home the worked said to someone “It’s the bitch from the other day!”while he was placing the call on hold!! Manager never in! No where to park ever! Everywhere smells of urine, mold and marijuana!

I can’t find any pictures of the rooms on the website. No wonder. Avoid!!

    Worst Place I've ever stayed.

Horrible smell. Blankets and pillows smell of stale smoke. Slept on our own beach towels on top of bed to try to feel clean. Would not go back or advise anyone else to either!

    Vacation so far

This was my 2nd stay here. It will be my last. Rude night clerk (3RD shift)that appears like he hasn't showered or bothered to comb his in 2 weeks. The room - well definitely had not had a proper cleaning in who knows how long. I purchased bleach cleaner to clean the jacuzzi tub/shower before I could use it. The windows were filthy. Trash in the floor. . The kitchen- had some old lids for pots that no longer exist and 1 pot, no frying pans etc, what little silverware provided was dirty and could use replacing. No glasses. 3 plates. Luckily I hadn't planned on cooking. The beds were the worst I have ever laid on after 2hrs of trying to fall asleep my back felt like I had been laying on a bed of rocks. The bedding had cigarette burns all over it. The pet fee charged was double what I had been told and Mr Pissy britches questioned me like I brought 10 dogs with me (I have 2 and have both listed on my bringfido account)not to mention the fact that I booked my room through bringfido. And finally Saturday night our last night there 2am ppl were still screaming and shouting from the balconies to the courtyard etc. I tried repeatedly to call the front desk but my calls went unanswered. Only when I called from my cell phone did Mr I hate my life answer. He then proceeds to question me with what room how many ppl etc ( I can tell you at this moment in time I would have enjoyed sicking my big boy dog on this guy) I did not offer any answers to his ignorant questions but did tell him all he had to do was step outside and he couldn't help but hear them (I was on the top 6th floor doors and drapes closed and it sounded like they were right outside. There are 2 positives I can think of location and one nice desk clerk on the 3pm-11pm shift.

    great vacation

Bermuda Sands was a great place to stay with our dog. This was our dogs first trip to the beach and this was the perfect place. We stayed in an ocean front efficiency room. The view was wonderful, the room was clean and quiet and the staff was very nice and accommodating. As is majority of the hotel/motels at myrtle beach, this is an older place that is exposed to salt air. You can not expect a place to be 5 star when you are paying "cheap" motel rates.

The boardwalk runs right by the hotel so we were able to walk to the main strip. The pier is right next to the hotel. There is a wonderful grass area for the doggies to visit.

Our family will definitely be staying here again.
