      DO NOT STAY HERE

      There room was minuscule. We had booked an adjoining room, but it was not clean. There was no elevator. The carpets are old & dirty. There was a general odor throughout the hotel. When we arrived no staff were on site late at night. They left two cell phone numbers to text for emergencies. NO ONE ANSWERED until 10:30 am the next day. But by that time we had already gotten emergency reservations at a new hotel with staff on site late at night. The Camas Hotel responded via text by blaming us that we had mistaken the adjoining room as ours when it was WIDE OPEN. So if it was not ours, then it was open for strangers to enter OUR room. The adjoining room’s window was also wide open with the appearance of having been broken into. Parts were bent around the frame. The rooms are waaay too small for animals. Just a truly nightmare experience.
