Staying at Shaw House was an experiential extension of visiting the unique, quaint town of Ferndale. A very relaxing stay in this historic home on their beautiful grounds. Thank you Paula and Nicole.

We arrived in a sprinkle that came and went—but the only way from our car to our room for a dog was 2 or 3 inches deep in water. On the whole, this would be a better bet for people without pets. Bring earplugs—the walls in this 170 year old b & b are thin. We did appreciate the tiny dog biscuits.

Very nice place. Owner greeted our dog with 2 treats and her very own towel and asked her name. There was no designated dog area. Felt very welcomed.
