Dogs are allowed at HTR TX Hill Country, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. Please clean up after your pet at all times and in all areas of the park including the island. The following breeds are not allowed in the park at any time: Pitt Bull (Staffordshire Terrier), Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, American Bulldog. If you are going to restrict certain breeds then this is not a pet-friendly place. It is not the breed but the owners that let their pet get unimaginable and undisciplined. My American pitbull terrier is my service dog and has never been aggressive even before he was a service dog because I have trained him. I will not recommend this place.
