Description

King Phillips Campground is nestled at the base of French Mountain. Whether you find peace beneath the tall Pines sheltered along French Mtn, or your spirits soar in the open air beneath the stars, they have the setting for you. If you're hot you can camp on the mountain side where the temperatures are a little cooler and there is a gentle breeze, or if you're too cool you can bask in the sun and catch some rays out in the open by the pool. All sites have water and most are full hook-ups with water, electric, sewer, and cable TV connections. They also have pull thru sites for easy and quick setup.

Best place to stay
I’ve been camping to King Phillip’s campground for over ten years. The place is not too expensive for the area and it’s a 2 minute drive from the dog beach. The campground is big enough to take nice walk with your dog. If you’re looking for something not too expensive, clean and nearby everything, I would 100% recommend.

Doesn’t cater to pups!!
I called to see what things there were to do with pets around their location (nearby dog parks or beaches). I was told in a not so nice manner that they had nothing “it’s for people and they don’t cater to dogs.” I will keep looking.
