    Old school charm

Great old school lodge. Very nice folks, good dog walking areas, and close enough to all the little shops in Taos.

Great place for people and dogs. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful grounds. And of course, lots of cool things to do in Taos.

    In Taos

The El Pueblo Lodge has a great set up for dogs. The room I had featured one door to the outside near the Pet Area plus another screened in door on a large, open grassy area. There were chairs to sit in outside of that door and the dogs could also be in that area on a leash. The room was simple, but had everything you needed.

    Nice stay

Nice beds, good breakfast, nice grounds. Cookies at check-in as well as chips and salsa, all good. The coffee wasn’t very good though.

Didn’t live up to the reviews

Before booking this motel I read reviews. This place was a dive. The rooms were very run down, the carpet stained and dirty. They didn’t refill the dog poop dispenser for the five days we were there. The pipes banged like a person running up metal stairs! You had to request your room be cleaned. The econo air conditioner was horrible turning on and off and burning us up. We were offered another room, but we didn’t want to deal with the huge hassle as we brought a lot for five days. Lady at front desk was not friendly. The one redeeming factor was the breakfast was great and the server super nice. We won’t stay there again.

    Authentic Pueblo look & feel

Good grounds for walking Fido. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Loved the room. Weather was an issue. It was too cold, -15°C! But the room was cozy.

    Nice grass for the pup

Have stayed here many times & will be back. Beautiful grounds with nice soft grass for pups which is hard to find in this very dry area. Beds are so comfy & buffet breakfast is fantastic with outdoor tables for you & your dog.

    Wonderful Place to Stay

Comfortable, relaxing, clean, great location! Well maintained grassy areas for picnicking and dog walking. Never saw any dog poop on grass. Our dog was very relaxed and enjoyed his stay. Breakfast was terrific offering something for everyone's taste. Cookies and chips and salsa were a welcomed afternoon snack. I selected El Pueblo based on the reviews and was not disappointed.

    Five bones for doggie excellence

We loved this place, it was awesome for our two mid sized pooches. The room was huge, the beds were comfortable, and we had a back door onto some green space that made taking the dogs out to pee super convenient. They also had enough green space to throw a ball for Bodhi. plus delicious chocolate chip cookies when we checked in!!!

    Great dog friendly stay

Me and two dogs enjoyed a weekend in Taos and staying at El Pueblo. Very pet friendly with dog treats at check in. Grassy areas right outside room for dogs with plenty of waste receptacles
