Cottages were clean and comfortable with smooth flooring. There was a fence surrounding them with a pet area designated. The breakfasts were delicious, dog allowed to come with us, and the staff was friendly.

This was our 2nd stay. The cottages are a peaceful oasis that is both modern and rustic. The decor has been nicely updated without losing the Guerneville/Russian River charm. Very cozy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely property tucked away off the main road with cute cottages, an amazing breakfast, an evening firepit (complete with all the fixings for Smores) and a supremely dog-friendly attitude. I'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff recommended a lovely park nearby to walk the dog (on pavement not on trails). Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast options.

Room was clean, well appointed. Breakfast, a step above continental, had a nice variety of warm and cold items. Overall it was very enjoyable and we will return.

We book this last minute, day of for an impromptu trip. The place was so quaint and lovely. They had a dedicated pet area for play and potty. For the grab and go breakfast, I expect the usual stale pastries, boxed cereals, etc. I was surprised and impressed to see fresh made breakfast sandwiches individually wrapped for the taking. And though we weren’t there in time, I have heard that the S’more making hour is fabulous.

It’s a cute place. Staff was lovely and it was clean. There was no welcome box for my pup which was a big bummer. Especially since it was his birthday. The main bed in my room needs major updating. Sadly my back is still sore days later.

Our family and pooch needed a short get away and this place was easy to book and find. Staff was cordial. nothing special. Price quoted didn’t include taxes or 35.00 pet fee. Rooms were clean. hard floored - ours had two tiny bedrooms and a sofa/chair/tv in main room . kids were disappointed no WIFI and no fire pit but loved the warm muffins in the morning. plenty of places to get Covid safe take out.

We had a lovely time at the Cottages on River Road. Location is good. Cabins were modern and very clean. Lovely atmosphere and very COVID safe. Will definitely stay again!
