This was our last stopover during our 2000-mile trek and was hopeful for a last pleasant night on the road. We arrived to un-airconditioned lobby and hallways. The king room I booked is not a pet friendly room. They have only 6 rooms designated for furry guests and they are double queens. Our room smelled like a pet store or a hamster cage depending on if you asked me or my partner. The air conditioning did work in the room, but thank goodness it had a window that opens to the sounds of I-94 and as soon as the evening cooled off that window was wide open to get some fresh air.
Our dog was very uncomfortable and after a through sniff around the room jumped on the bed and wouldn't move. In the morning we were able to have a nice breakfast here (microwaveable burrito, hard boiled egg, banana, yogurt). Icing our mini cooler for medications was a challenge and garnered a 1/4 of a quart sized bag. Hopefully, enough to keep integrity of meds on the last 3 hour leg of trip. The motel itself is okay, not great, but okay if they would properly clean the rooms.

Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
