The booking was easy and affordable. They cooperated with BringFido well for changes. Check-in was easy. Great location. Absolutely dog friendly. We never saw housekeeping even come near our room, though. Had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. And there is no dedicated doggy-potty area. There's a shared parking lot with Denny's and that's the only grass on the property. It seems gross to let a dog poop behind a restaurant but it's either that or the parking lot. Everyone seemed to pick up after their dogs so there wasn't a lot of waste around, though. Would definitely go back!

The room was literally infested with cock roaches! They came out of everywhere. They were in the towels, the bedding, crawling on the walls!! It was the most expensive Laquita we have stayed in! The Bike Rally was in town and we couldn’t find another hotel. We left EARLY, and left town. Disgusting!

There was very little green space for our dog. The little bit that was there, was covered in trash. There was an attempt to make the room clean, but the large spot of mold on the ceiling was hard to ignore. The outside of the building was in poor shape, with caution tape in some areas. The pictures for the hotel need to be updated. The rooms do not look this nice. This was a disappointment.

No hot water had to take cold showers, tv didn’t work, Ice machine broken, washing machine out of order, no breakfast. Had to park our car at the Denny’s parking lot.

Definitely convenient with the beach being right across the street. Not a whole lot of area for your dogs to potty but not a bad experience nonetheless. There is a little bit of a roach problem it seems like but overall the hotel looks clean and well maintained.

When we arrived at the hotel, we saw that there was no place for our dogs to go to the bathroom except for a food restaurant and some small patch of grass along the street. When I booked the place, there was nothing said about no breakfast. I realize COVID-19 has restrictions but didn't see anything like that on website. Also, had to go and ask for clean towels and coffee stuff every day. No maid service until we were going to check out. I understand we were there a short while, but they could have easily come in and given us fresh towels and coffee. Hubby and I will not be staying at this place again.

There wasn't much grass around the hotel to walk the dog, but the dog friendly beach is right across the street. There is also a school with a grassy area behind the hotel that we walked the dog and played fetch at. The hotel does provide a doggy poo disposal station. The city has lots of dog friendly restaurants too. I highly recommend Tequilos Tex Mex for dinner and Mosquito Cafe for brunch. Both welcomes dogs to their outdoor seating areas.

I have a 72lb pup, so finding lodging while traveling with her can be a challenge. This place has no size limit, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. Being across from the beach was great for my water dog too!

I liked staying here because there was enough space in our room for 2 crates while still being comfortable. Pros: RIGHT across from the beach, nice minifridge and microwave, close to good food, affordable (at least on a Sunday night). Cons: we found a flea in the room at first (but no more later), the TV is dated, there’s a lot of foot traffic due to people parking there to walk to the beach, the area to walk dogs was a very small patch of grass. Your dog will get bored if they only go out to see this tiny plot of grass, so maybe walk them on the beach, too. Overall, though, I would stay here again.

We stay here every year! Sharon and one of the other girls have been there for many years and are absolutely a pleasure to talk to. They are always accommodating and they love our dalmatians. Its conveniently located directly across the street from the beach and they have an area to take the pups potty. We always clean up after our stay even though they said they don't mind. We just want them to keep taking them there so we take care of the room. Thank you LaQuinta and Sharon!! We love you guys!!
