Nice hotel right downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable. The strudel was delicious, as was the breakfast each morning. There is no grass on site for dogs, but you should be able to find some within a few blocks in any direction.
We stayed at the Garden Haus which is managed/owned by the Obertal Inn and it was absolutely perfect for our pups. There is a fenced in yard so they can be off leash and pee and poop as needed without worrying about bothering other people. The house itself is spacious with plenty of space for puppers and people. One of our dogs get spooked by noises when we stay in hotels so this was perfect for him - we didn't have to worry about bothering other people. The location is perfect right in the center of town!
Although the rooms were older they were spotless, smelled good, very cheerful and so comfortable. Everything was nearby so you could walk and the breakfasts were excellent. I would stay again if in the area.
The inn is in a great location, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and very sweet to my dog. There is a big park nearby for dog walking. Breakfast was delicious, it’s a great place to stay.
Treats and a big welcome for our dog. Dogs could be left unattended in room. Great price for the location, right in town, but this also means no grassy pet area on the premises. No elevators, so if you have a dog who can’t do stairs, ask for a ground floor room. I believe all rooms are pet friendly.
We stayed at the Garden Haus, which is managed by Obertal Inn. It is a charming 1bd/1ba home right in the middle of downtown Leavenworth. We had a dedicated parking spot off the alley so we could leave our car parked and walk to all the stores and restaurants. Garden Haus has a 6 ft tall sturdy wooden fence enclosing the side yard so you can let your pup out for potty time without a leash. We brought our own dog bed with us and our 3yo chocolate lab was tickled to be along on our family adventure. Note that it *might* get a little noisy when Leavenworth is able to have festivals like Oktoberfest again because across the alley is the large community hall building. There were complimentary earplugs on the nightstands in the bedroom. We'll definitely be back with our whole family, dog included!
This hotel is centrally located and in a very dog friendly town. We had a great stay and would highly recommend This hotel. The dog treat at check in and check out was a great bonus! If you stay here you should visit the pizza place/ brewery across the street. Great food and dogs welcomed
