Front desk upgraded us to a suite, with full kitchen and separate bedroom. The accommodations were quiet, with a bonus bar and restaurant for us all to enjoy.

We arrived at this hotel after a 10-1/2 hour drive only to find out that the room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 6pm. The cleaning staff had quit so we were given a coupon for 20% off dinner in their restaurant. Tired and hungry after our long day, we were told to sit outside with our dog. Weather was beautiful so that wasn’t a problem. The problem was the restaurant staff had quit too! One man was running between tending bar and waiting on the only 2 tables with people in the restaurant. Dogs and people were waiting in the lobby and outside. People were angry. Some had been waiting for 4 hours. At this time of night, 9:00 pm by now, our room was still not ready. We had to really scramble to find another place to stay in this popular resort area. We were finally able to find another hotel 5 miles away. This hotel should be closed because of the poor management!

They do not clean the rooms. I don't know if this is the policy for pet friendly rooms, but I was told by more than one housekeeper that they only change the garbage, the towels when you ask them to, as well as change the sheets or even make the beds. We kept everything as clean as possible but got a little sand on the floor. Room was never cleaned. We stayed a week, so to me, this is unacceptable. Other than that, all the staff was very friendly.
