    Great staff

    Staff here are excellent. There is unfortunately really nowhere to walk my dog around the hotel however. Just concrete everywhere and some small bits of dirt with plantings.

    Great location

    We wanted to go to Mt. Baker for the snow but didn't want to drive from Everett and back in the same day. We decided to go to Bellingham, spend the night, have a nice dinner, and go to the snow the next day. Unfortunately, my wife didn't feel well the next day so we went home instead.

    Could not wait to relax

    My GSD likes the elevator, may request a room a little further away on my next stay. Staff was very professional and courteous.

    Great Stay

    I really enjoyed my stay here. My large dog was welcome and everyone was very kind. Great breakfast in the morning. Will stay here again.

    Nowhere safe to walk my dogs. I woke up the homeless people sleeping behind the dumpster (that’s the only place with grass besides the patch next to the busy road). Hotel staff informed me that I should take all my bags inside because the homeless will bust out my windows to take what they can. Yes this place is dog friendly, but definitely not human friendly. Will never stay here again.

    Great place for a 3-dog night

    Not the most lavish of hotels, La Quinta is still within my budget because: 3 dogs. And our room was great; I also need fridge and microwave, and there was a good comp breakfast. Fred Meyer and Starbucks right next store: Costco gas station on the way back to I-5. Friendly staff who were all wearing masks during Washington state’s 4th surge: good. Great bang for the buck.

    Dog friendly

    Dog friendly, awesome crew, small grass place for your pup. But the location was pretty sketchy. Homeless are everywhere and camp somewhere behind. Hope that goes away. Smoke-free hotel, but not really. Smelled cigarette everywhere. Would be desperate to stay here again. I'd rather pay a pet fee.

    Great location and excellent staff and free delicious, hot breakfast

    I really liked how it was right next to Fred Meyer (and the cheapest gas station in town), Five Guys, and a strip mall with plenty of options. The staff treated us really well! The staff member that checked us in was really friendly, the staff that was cleaning the rooms was super helpful, and the staff that cooked the delicious bacon/fresh scrambled eggs/perfectly cooked home fries/sausage patties also greeted us. Everyone was following the Covid protocol. When I asked for earplugs to sleep due to being across from the elevator (I could hear the ding of the elevator and am very sound sensitive), they provided me with a pair that was softer and more sound proof than any other earplug I’ve tried. I will be sure to buy some of the same type for personal use. It was dog friendly and our dog loved it!

    Do Not Stay Here

    I've always had great stays with La Quinta. This time was not up to their standards, at all. The room was clean, the property what I expect.

    However, after checking in around 5:30, there was a continual, loud, thumping on my ceiling coming from the room above me. Also what sounded like a symbol being struck from time to time.

    I called, nicely, down to the front desk. I thought perhaps there was a hotel related workroom, or laundry room, some sort of loud noise activity being conducted up there.

    The front desk was very evasive, asking odd questions about the noise. Then the response was "No one has ever complained about them before." End of conversation.

    "Them" - who? And why does that matter - I was in that room below 'them' and I was unable to think with the constant pounding and rattling. I was complaining, and that should have been enough.

    I expected the banging and clashing to stop. Over an hour later I couldn't handle it any longer and called back down. I told the same female that this was ridiculous, the banging, and that if they were not going to take care of it I had no choice but to check out.

    Half an hour later with no change in the thumping upstairs, I checked out and asked for a refund. I had been in the room all of 90 minutes.

    She was quite rude and indignant that I would ask for a refund.

    I do not, under any circumstances, recommend this La Quinta. This is a zero bone rating, but the system will not let me post with no bones selected.

    Great location

    Very accommodating. Nice but small grassy area for pets. Must share with smokers. Mostly employees. Room was great. Starbucks and Fred’s is next door. Mall just down the street.

    Very Nice Place to Stay

    Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, very nice room and facilities. We all (including our pooch) loved it and will return on our next visit.

    Wonderful place for staying with dogs!

    This is our third stay at this La Quinta Inn in the last three months. The staff is amazing: wonderful receptionists, wonderful housekeepers and maintenance staff, and hosting at the great breakfast spread! Everyone is A+! The warmth and hospitality for people and their pets excels that of any other place we've stayed.
