  Rude Customer Service

  I was just about to book a room online. There was one King Condo on the main floor that showed up for our dates after I clicked on filters "river view" and "pet friendly". I called, thank God, just to confirm. I was told we could not take a pet to that room. I told her I was on their site, using their calendar and filters and it says it is pet friend.y. I told her that it should disappear from the list of available rooms if pet friendly is clicked. She replied that there is no way to do that. I told her I was a computer programmer for years and it's simple code, and that's why filters are on the web site! She replied "Well it's not."

  Staying at Murphy's River Lodge

  Great room with balcony and plenty of room for the dogs! Walking trails for the dogs and steps from downtown! Very dog friendly! Great staff exceptionally clean. Hot tub and pool! We would stay there again!

  Friendly staff, great stay!

  My pup and I loved our stay at Murphy's River Lodge! The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating -- I even got a call to let me know our room was ready early! They had lots of nice touches (free water bottles, great complimentary breakfast) and our room was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

  Great For Dogs

  We stayed at the hotel today and had a fantastic experience with our dogs. They are dog friendly and I would absolutely give this place five bones. The management here is very professional and we respected all of their restrictions.

  Not Service Animal Friendly / Or Pet Friendly

  I’m a disabled veteran with a service animal, as described by ADA and my service animal is a U.S. Registered service dog.
  The manager Matt did not care to understand, or educate himself on the laws when it comes to service animals and how they are defined by law. This morning I had a run in with Matt “the manager”. He proceeded to argue with me and ask me questions that are in direct violation of HIPPA and continued to dismiss me and roll his eyes and shake his head and hands at me telling me she’s an emotional support animal. I tried to show him my credentials for her and he said I don’t need to see that she’s not a service animal. (I tried to tell him they are two different things). Long story short. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. No one should have to deal with that type of discrimination or treatment. We will be filing a complaint with the ADA. We will also be filing a HIPPA violation.
