This was our first time taking our dog to a hotel with us, and the Kimpton Taconic couldn't have been a better experience for our pooch! They rolled out the red carpet bringing bowls and a bed to our room right after check-in. Everyone was so kind and happy to see our George! He was so happy and loved every minute (as did I!)

The hotel and grounds were beautiful as well as the surrounding area. There are several restaurants with outdoor seating and everyone welcomed our dog.

This is a wonderful hotel. Not only is it exceptionally pet friendly but it isn't at all bad for humans either! I highly recommend the Kimpton and BringFido generally!

I stayed here for a week with my dog and the entire staff was LOVELY! They all really like dogs and work hard to make the experience enjoyable for them: from bringing my food to the lobby (dogs aren't allowed in restaurants in VT), to water bowls and treats, to lots of open lawns and spaces around the property to safely walk day or night. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. For humans, the food is spectacular farm to table and the coffee is perfect.

Our dogs had a blast here. Dog treats in the lobby, dogs welcomed at happy hour, many places to walk your dog on property (with dog bags and waste bins). So many restaurants and shops within walking distance. And a short drive away is the Equinox preserve, with tons of dog friendly walking trails of varying lengths! Warm welcomes and would definitely return!

Very nice resort. Convenient location to walk or drive to nearby spots. Very pet friendly. Dog treats at reception and water bowls were available. 5 pm happy hour served a complimentary drink and snacks for guests and also welcomed dogs. Guests and staff were very friendly, great resort with a relaxed, easy vibe.

Our trip to Manchester landed us at the Taconic with our two Vizslas. One only a 6 month old puppy. He was uncomfortable being in his crate in an unknown location so the staff offered to babysit while we ate dinner. “Oakley” spent that time greeting guests at the front desk and had a blast. House dog for a night! They also sell high quality dog toys in the convenience shop in the lobby. I would feel NOT taking my dogs next time. Loved it!
