Reviews
- NicoletteFeb. 6, 2023Excellent
This hotel was top grade for a middle of the road price. The desk was kind and helpful. Breakfast good. Clean and nicely updated. I would return.
- JuliaJan. 30, 2023Great for dogs!
This was a fantastic spot to stop on our cross country drive! Our pup slept so well here and even goofed off in the snow ❄️ We will be back 🐾
- LaurenJan. 22, 2023Nice new hotel
Clean, nice rooms. Was very busy on a Saturday night, lots of dogs! Laundry machines available, great dog friendly brewery next door.
- MarthaDec. 28, 2022Great place
We booked same day on Christmas Eve. The hotel was very nice, large room, nice breakfast. Super clean.
- KarenNov. 26, 2022Pet Friendly
Hotel was nice, staff was friendly, complimentary breakfast was good. Very pet friendly.
- LindaOct. 16, 2022Good stay
Good location. Nice size pet area and staff was friendly.
- PeterOct. 10, 2022Great place for you and your dog!
We have grown to like La Quinta as a place to stay with our 2 dogs across a number of states. We stayed in a variety of motels, several very special independents that I have reviewed previously. As far as chains go, in our opinion, La Quinta is the best (other Wyndham properties not so much). The Williams and Clinton, OK properties were especially great; lounge and bar in the lobby that was dog friendly, dogs could join you for breakfast in certain areas of the lobby at Williams, Clinton allowed dogs to be left in your room unaccompanied for a limited time. Both had good dog "exercise" areas. Both in great locations for food, beverage, & entertainment. The Grand Canyon Brewery restaurant next door to the hotel in Williams actually allows your well behaved dog to join you in the dining area! For people both have indoor heated pools and "gyms", lobby lounges with bars (at night), space for kids too. All in all, Williams tops the bill with Clinton a close second.
- MarkSep. 15, 2022Excellent location, great little town
I could not recommend this place enough. Friendly staff, great spa and pool. Saw many happy people and pets.
- GAug. 21, 2022Pleasant enough
Welcoming, had to clean up a few spots in the room. Breakfast offerings ok and coffee round the clock. Not an enormous pet area or places to walk close by
- MarynJul. 17, 2022Awesome stay
Everyone was friendly, clean rooms, lots of amenities, great outside area for the dogs.
- RichardJun. 18, 2022Great stop on a cross country trip
Newer property. Second floor room but easy stair access. And a brewery right next door with dog friendly outdoor seating.
- DebraApr. 11, 2022Wonderful experience
It was quiet, and pet area was best we have seen in our travels.
- WandaApr. 11, 2022Best hotel for you and your dog!!
We recently stayed here on an overnight stay. I am handicapped in a wheelchair and I brought my 4 lb chihuahua. This location was stellar for both of us and the rest of the family! 5 bones and if I could give more I would.
- LisaApr. 8, 2022A great place to stop
The hotel is pretty new and very nice. There is a great place for dogs to relieve themselves, which is a huge plus! The room was very comfortable and the staff very nice. Right next door is a brewery that is extremely dog friendly. It has a nice deck, but they allow dogs inside!
- JosiahFeb. 27, 2022Lovely accomodations
The room was nice, and there was a nice, big patch of turf out back for doggos. Plenty of places to walk around the hotel as well. And the Grand Canyon Brewery right next door is dog friendly as well, so we enjoyed a nice meal inside there out of the cold with our pup! If you're traveling solo though and want to take advantage of the breakfast, it can be tough since you can't bring dogs into the area where you grab food, so you'll need to leave them in your car or with someone while you grab food. You can then have them with you while you eat, just not in the food area. So, if you have a super active/hyper dog, that could prove difficult! With someone else with you though, that's pretty easy.
- MichaelFeb. 26, 2022Crap Construction
We could hear normal conversation in both abutting rooms and every step from above. The place looks nice but was built shabbily.
- ShellyFeb. 12, 2022Great location
Clean hotel with nice breakfast area. Loved the 24 hour coffee and tea availability in the lobby.
- BettyNov. 12, 2021Good
The hotel was immaculate easy with our two dogs. In the back they have an area with artificial turf for pets. I will stay again.
- KEVINNov. 6, 2021Enjoyable stay
Pet friendly with a large area to walk your pet, our favorite place to stay when in Williams.
- JudyOct. 21, 2021Very enjoyable
We haven't been to Williams, AZ in over 20 years. Imagine to my delight the great accommodations and hospitality we received upon arrival and all the way til we left. Gracious and accommodating staff. We will definitely return.
- JOOct. 12, 2021Great place
Very clean place. Dog friendly, really nice doggie area. Maid service was very professional. Definitely going back.
- MollyOct. 5, 2021Great place for you and your pet
This was a great location to base out of for trips around Northern Arizona. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out I was treated with pleasantness and courtesy. The office staff were great with recommendations for places to eat. The place was immaculate. And they had a great free breakfast spread. I highly recommend.
- CarrieAug. 24, 2021Excellent Breakfast
Pups & I had a nice stay. Pet relief area was easily accessible. Room was clean & the staff was welcoming. The highlight was breakfast! Eggs, sausage, bagels etc…
- KarenMay. 17, 2021Great to our dog
Newer La Quinta so everything was new. Welcomed our dog with pets and treats. Little lawn for dogs to sniff around and to their thing. Right next door is a fun little restaurant that allows dogs on patio. Very convenient
- RobertMar. 19, 2021Peaceful, friendly and good location
Good service, nice dog yard.
- DeborahMar. 15, 2021Loved this Hotel
Friendly staff and super accommodating. We ended up getting snowed in and needing to book a room for a second night. Hotel is super clean , beds are comfortable. Perfect location if going to the Grand Canyon. Large turf dog relief area in back of hotel.
- AimeeFeb. 17, 2021Beyond pet friendly
They were so accommodating for our 2 huskies and the hotel itself was fantastic. The staff was kind and very knowledgeable of the area. Rooms were WONDERFUL! Definitely a stay worth the drive.
- DeniseFeb. 4, 2021Awesome
Beautiful place. Clean, friendly. Wine and beer in the lobby. Super friendly to fur babies.
- KarenJan. 7, 2021Super Friendly
Staff was super friendly! Price was right, very clean and comfortable.
- RyanJan. 4, 2021Lindsay!
Lindsay at the front desk was exceptionally helpful
- NancyDec. 4, 2020Great place to stay
Nice room - friendly staff
- LaurenNov. 3, 2020A great spot!
I had to book last minute due to a cancellation with other arrangements and this was ideal. My pup enjoyed it, and it was right next to a brewery with a patio - ideal dog situation.
- KellyAug. 20, 2020A few surprises
The hotel itself and dog area were great. However I made reservations less then a week out and prepaid for the room. When I checked in, I was told there was a new water tax and I had to pay an additional $4.00. I brought along my dogs kennels only to find out that I couldn't leave the dogs in the room unattended to go to dinner. In reviewing hotels on the site, I found other hotels indicated there policies specifically, La Quinta did not. Luckily the Grand Canyon Brewery was walking distance to the hotel. They have a great pet friendly patio, broad menu reasonably priced and we enjoyed nice dinner there with our dogs.
- S.Jul. 27, 2020What A Blessing
we just adopted two dogs within the last few months. we needed to get away due to covid but didn’t want to put our fur babies in a kennel. so thankful this hotel was great! rooms clean and new. so nice to get that with two dogs. some hotels will give you older rooms with dogs. this one didn’t. all they ask is you clean up after your pup and not leave them in the room unattended. I had no problem with that and did my part. friendly staff, free breakfast, nice dog area. I’ll come back again
- VictoriaJun. 28, 2020Excellent!
Dog AND cat friendly hotel. It is very new. Room was very comfy. Dog walking area is large and made of artificial grass. Plus, there are sidewalks around for a longer walk. Many pet owners stayed here!!!
- MorganMay. 31, 2020Great Location
Best stop on 40 I’ve ever found! Nice new hotel in a great location, a little over an hour from Grand Canyon with an awesome dog friendly brewery right next door! Rooms were clean, decent beds, and nice sized AstroTurf pet relief area next to the pool. Will definitely be back!
- BeckyFeb. 18, 2020great place to stay!
very kind and helpful. We would stay again.
- MorganJan. 7, 2020Great Location
Very nice la Quinta and great location. Pet policy said 25 lb but everyone had large breed dogs.
- JenniJan. 7, 2020Great Stay!
Clean spacious room
- SusanDec. 30, 2019Great location
Perfect stop on the drive cross country. Room was great but the elevator was not working. Glad I wasn’t right by the stairs. Nice to have a bar with TVs on site since difficult to bring our dog anywhere in the winter. Would definitely stop again
- SheliaNov. 15, 2019Guest Review
Very nice
- Le flaneurOct. 14, 2019Pets Allowed but NOT Pet Friendly
Beautiful hotel, great location, [one can walk to some interesting shops, markets, Starbucks, and restaurants] secure and safe.
The hotel allows pets but there are members of the staff who most certainly do not approve of the pets in the hotel [Especially Food and Beverage Personnel] and are actually HOSTILE and RUDE when they see you with your fur baby. IMO these staff members should be retrained and made to understand that if a pet is with a Hotel "GUEST" [ a term they do not understand] then the pet is also a guest and should be treated as one. Perhaps they should seek employment in a hotel that DOES not accept pets if the sight of a small dog pushes their "Anger and RAGE" button. Totally unacceptable!!! Try a BEST WESTERN....they are more welcoming to pets and pet owners.
On a Cross Country Trip I cancelled the future reservations I had at other La Quinta properties because of the Staff at this hotel and changed to BEST WESTERN where I was treated like a Human Being and a "Paying GUEST"...not like some freeloading interloper. Do the SAME!!!
- BillySep. 11, 2019Nice place to stop
Came in from LA headed east but Flagstaff was to far for me and the dog. Very welcoming with a discount coupon for dinner.
Nice pet area. Room was a little loud during the night with the topper an alarm IN THE NEXT ROOM
Including a snooze 2 alarm or the could not figure out how to shut it off. But check out was a breeze and breakfast was normal.
I feel like this was a great way lace for the pup and myself - SaraAug. 13, 2019Great All Around Hotel
Clean and modern rooms. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, quiet hotel. Balcony on some rooms that is pet compatible. Designated turf in the back of the hotel for pets. Would definitely stay again with my 45 lb dog.
- YvonneApr. 17, 2019Super Nice Hotel
Excellent place to stay with big dogs. Everyone friendly and super clean rooms. Breakfast great as well with a spacious lobby to enjoy it!
- Laura kayOct. 16, 2018Great
They have an AstroTurf dog walking and “potty” station. Our GSD wasn’t too keen to it but our Dachshund was. There’s a failed housing addition behind this place so that’s where we took our GSD lots of running room on her 25’ cable.
The breakfast was nice
- JanisMore than a year agogreat rooms
This was the nicest La Quinta I’ve stayed in. Everyone was friendly and there were multiple large dogs staying there, it did not appear that they have a 20 lb rule.
- LisaMore than a year agobrand new, so convenient
Almost perfect-
Only complaint is the well intentioned pet area is rocky and tough on my dog’s paws But there was plenty of other space to walk. There were 5-6 other dogs there and no issues at all. La Quinta loves their dogs!
