The front staff is super friendly, and they keep dog treats on the counter. Room was great, a perfect size for my partner, my dog, and I.

    Peter Approved

I was pleased with our stay. Peter was welcomed and treated like he belonged there. Wasn't much of a green area but we made it just fine. The staff was 5 bones all the way. I gave a 4 due to a doggy area, but honestly it was downtown on the main strip so I understood.

    Pleasant Stay at Aloft

The staff at Aloft made us and our dog feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room appeared clean, though our dog could obviously smell previous guests dogs (which made us nervous that he might want to mark) but there were no incidents. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of food choices and activities nearby. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

    Beautiful Hotel

We stayed overnight for an appointment the following day. The hotel is very contemporary with a hip vibe about it. Parking was across the street in a paid garage and easily accessible to the hotel. There wasn't much place at the hotel for my dog to go potty, but a very quick walk one block away was a beautiful park with plenty of grassy areas. We even walked there at 11 pm and felt safe doing so. We were able to have our dog with us in the breakfast area the next morning, and even though breakfast wasn't free, it was incredibly good and was prepared to order. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and can recommend it.

The hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, our bed had a huge gully in it which made it next to impossible to sleep.

    Great dog friendly hotel

The hotel is dog friendly, the staff extremely helpful and the location on Whiskey Row and near the riverfront is superb. The hotel is also cozy, clean and has nice amenities like the gym and lounge. This is my second stay here and is my first choice when stopping over in Louisville.

    Very welcoming!

The room was great, food and drinks from WXYZ bar were great and many of those staying over the Christmas holiday had a dog or two with them and the staff was welcoming of our companions and us.
We’ve stayed twice now (back in October too) and both times staff was friendly, accommodating, and we resided on the second floor (quicker access to go outside) both times. Only concrete and mulch on the property but grass across the street at White Castle and a block away on the other side of the Humana building, but watch your step as many pet parents don’t clean up after their dogs. Joes Crab Shack is about 3 blocks walk on the riverfront with outdoor seating (even in December when it’s 72 degrees). The lobby of Aloft has pool tables, several areas to lounge, read, surf or visit and dog were permitted in them(as long as we were responsible). We would stay again while traveling the Bourbon Trail!

    Beautiful Hotel

Really great hotel. Beautiful room/lobby/restaurant. Staff were great as well. Only thing I didn't like was taking my pup for walks. No easy access park - ended up going in green space near a White Castle. Would def go here again!

    Great stay!

Aloft is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in! Just went to Boston and Aloft is by far much better than Yotel where we stayed. Everyone was friendly and courteous, treated my dog like royalty!

    Mediocre room

The bed was just ok. Not the best mattress. Privacy is nonexistent. The shower is poorly designed. There was no way to avoid flooding the floor outside the shower. The bartender had no idea what wine was available and there was no wine list. I was very disappointed and will not be staying at another Aloft.

    Wonderful Stay!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My puppy and I had an excellent visit and I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel. I’d especially like to Thank Jay-Lyn (sp) who was working the desk for how he went beyond expectations with kindness and courtesy towards us (and others as I observed). Our visit was the best and we will definitely be back each time we pass through Louisville from now on. Thank You!

    Great one-night stay

Great, friendly one-night stay in Louisville. Staff was welcoming, room was everything we wanted and needed! I will advise that there is no valet or on-site parking, but there is a parking deck just across the street for $20/night. It was a bit cumbersome trying to get the dog and all our stuff from the garage to the hotel for check in. There’s no grass on property, but it’s a short (one-block) walk to a small park by the waterfront. There’s a small grassy area by the parking deck and a fast food place, a bit dodgy but no harm no foul. I would come back!

    Huge room; very dog friendly.

Great hotel. We only stayed for a night to break up our drive between Chicago and Gatlinburg. Check in was quick. The room was HUGE. Plenty of room for our pups to stretch their legs after the long drive. Location is perfect. Hotel is very clean and staff is following COVID protocols.

    Happy we stayed here!

We stayed at the Aloft downtown. It's a convenient spot to all the great things downtown has to offer although first impressions of the outside area weren't so great. Once inside we (and our puppy) were greeted warmly and everything was perfect. We found parking on the street and downloaded an app to pay meter saving the $28 come and go parking (although street parking is limited). There is a small park 1 block down the street for walks.

Great location in downtown. Hotel staff were awesome and very helpful in letting us know were to get take out. Room clean had a corner unit on the 7th floor. Our fur baby loved looking out the windows at the traffic and pedestrians. Will go back once everything opens back up!!

    Great experience with 2 dogs

Louisville was our stop on a road trip from Atlanta to Chicago. We had our two dogs with us along with our 15-month-old. It was a great hotel for us. We had a king room and there was enough room for the pack and play. They had a dog bed set out for Our pups on the built in bench, however they ended up sharing the bed with us... no surprise there, haha.

    Great Visit

This hotel was so nice, not only dog friendly but people friendly. Staff were so helpful right from the moment we pulled in. (Parking is $28). No extra fee for the dog. She even got a goodie bag. We were able to leave her while we went to dinner. There are also pet friendly restaurants nearby if preferred. Located right on Whisky Row.

    Low quality for Aloft

We were given a TERRIBLE room that was walled with the elevator, the air units, had a broken ac unit that kept me awake for two nights and had a ceiling that appeared to be caving in. This is a relatively new hotel. If you are bringing your pets, just know they give you the lowest quality for the highest price. The poop bag station had two bags and as we were checking out of the mostly empty hotel, one of our cavalier King Charles spaniels was barking and whining as he got anxious with us packing and taking stuff out of the tools to load the car. We were downstairs for all of 3 minutes when the housekeeper called the front desk to complain about the dog whining (it was 9:30 on a Friday am). It was uncalled for and she clearly saw us loading our car and packing. If you want a rude and inconsiderate staff, stay here. This is why air bnb is getting business! Because “pet friendly” isn’t.

    Awesome dog hotel

We actually didn't stay at this hotel, but when we learned that our own hotel didn't let dogs into any of the common areas, we discovered this hotel after walking around downtown trying to figure out where we could eat breakfast with two Spaniel puppies. Super hip hotel, they love dogs, gave us treats, and said that we were more than welcome to bring the dogs inside the lobby to eat breakfast. Excellent hotel chain, the staff were all super friendly with our pups, and a lot of other dog owners were at the hotel, so we felt very welcome. This place really saved our trip, and we came back later for dinner and drinks and had a blast.
