Dogs were accepted, but not welcomed. Pet area was a small rock bed the back side of the electric vehicle charging poles. No grass anywhere.

Rather than pay the expensive rates at the Springdale hotels ($400+per night), I opted to stay here in La Verkin for less than a third of that price. The hotel was an easy drive from Zion, it was clean and modern and pet friendly. If you don't have to be in walking distance to the park, this is the way to go. Oh, and did I mention the Hurricane City Dog Park that's less than ten minutes away?

Dog was allowed to sit in the lobby area. Not a lot of grass though, so dogs will probably need to just do their #2 business elsewhere.

The hotel is nice and clean, glad to have the frig and microwave. Only difficulty was trying to do laundry; only 2 of 4 washers were working. And we received good advice from the reception clerk to eat at Balcony 1; wonderful meal.

Easy check in. They don’t have a designated place for dogs to use the bathroom, but they’re open to allowing your dog sniff around outside for a spot. And there are near by places to walk your dog. It was a clean, comfortable stay.

My dog kept finding pieces of old dog food lying around which makes me think they did not vacuum properly and then makes me question the rest of the cleanliness of the room. The sheets and bedding were so old, worn through and pilled that it was like sleeping on sandpaper. There were many other guests not wearing masks in the lobby and hallways despite it being required. So no enforcement on that. The water in the pool was so cold it was unusable. The location is fine and it seemed like a good price point but I should have spent a couple more dollars for a hotel taking cleanliness and safety more seriously. I had been traveling for 4 nights and this was the only hotel I stayed in that felt risky during Covid.

Only complaint no big dogs allowed - we have a small dog - but do not understand why no big dogs allowed - other wise nice and very clean place. Friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Including no pet fee, this hotel was very nice in every way. We loved the view of the mountains out our window. If I had one tiny exception it would be that there wasn't a grassy area for the dogs, just gravel. Thank you so much for welcoming our dogs.

Place was great for the price and no dog fee which is great. However the walls are incredibly thin so you can hear everything which is not great if you have very protective dogs.
