  Happy Hollow is just up the road from the quaint downtown area of Hot Springs and right across the street from lots of hikes. Bathrooms are a bit dated but heating/cooling works well and it is very clean. The owners are super helpful. Our dog loved it there - he even became a bark ranger (most of the town is in the national park).

  Great spot

  Clean hotel with friendly staff right across from a beautiful national park. Easy walk to spring water filling station. Very dog friendly, too. I will stay here again.

  Perfect location

  I like the location, right across from the park, near the cold water fountain, and down the street from food and shops. And they let well behaved dogs stay in the rooms.

  Great Experience!

  Motel was warm and inviting. Very easy check-in, rooms were very clean, and location to trails and downtown was amazing. Will stay again and recommend to anyone.

  Happy Hollows 5 Howls

  Great location to Bathhouse Row and Superior Bathhouse Brewery. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed pillows for me were flat. Was able to check in early. Was hoping that room had a tub/shower combo to bathe the dog. Just a shower. Area had nice grassy area to play and use as a bathroom area. No pet fee.

  Very dog friendly, as is all of Hot Springs! Owner gave us lots of restaurant ideas that were dog friendly, too!

  Happy Hollow, Happy Fido

  We were arriving early to the area on vacation and needed a one night stay. Thanks to BringFido I happened upon Happy Hollow. BOOK SOON as they do fill up with only 18 rooms! I would call this a "hidden gem" however it's not quite 'hidden' when it's SO NEARBY the sites you will want to see! (Maybe hidden on the internet though so you're lucky to be reading about it now). The Mountain Tower - walking/driving distance. We drove to give Belle a break and saw a gorgeous DEER immediately upon entering! We + Belle walked to Superior Bathhouse, Grateful Head Pizza, Bathhouse Row, one of few "COLD" Springs Fountains to fill up jugs, and more.

  Our room had comfortable beds (2), a mini-kitchen with fridge + small freezer. Microwave. Small shower. FIRST FLOOR which we requested since our sweet Belle is 12 years old and doesn't take stairs well. ICE is readily available with buckets and bags of ice in a small room nearby also family games for the big lawn. I enjoyed the outside chairs and table to relax. I will recommend to anyone and will hope to return soon.

  Great Location

  The room was clean and everything was available for the stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to the shops downtown and the hiking trails. We plan on returning the next time we are in Hot Springs and already recommended for someone else to stay.

  A hidden surprise

  A time capsule of a motel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Updated plumbing fixtures. Laminate flooring is way better than some motels with carpets that blacken your feet with unknown substances. Close to downtown, but quiet. Very friendly check in with recommendations for restaurants where your canine unit is actually welcome INSIDE the establishment.

  Hidden gem! No pet fee!

  We loved our stay at The Happy Hollow! Phenomenal location. Pleasant staff. Spacious, clean, and well-decorated rooms. Plenty of parking (at least during the off-season). Reasonable prices. No pet fee! We truly lucked out!

  Hot Times in Hot Springs

  Perfect location, lots of friendly dogs and people. Rooms are basic so don’t expect the Ritz. Staff was nice.

  Lovely stay

  This is a charming old hotel with lots of character. It is directly across a quiet street from hiking trails in the national park and 3 blocks walk to the bathhouses and restaurants. It was delightful.

  Location! Location! Location!

  A simple, clean room with all necessities. Check- in lady was friendly and provided us with great information including a fantastic dinner suggestion. You can walk to town and there's trails nearby as well. Lots of grassy areas for pups to play and take care of business. Hot Springs was very dog friendly overall.

  Our First Doggy Road Trip

  It’s our first time bringing our dogs overnight somewhere and we were so nervous. Max is over 100lbs and Maggie is 60lbs. Everyone here has been very nice and accommodating. I would stay here with no dogs! It’s the cutest little place with tables outside every room, a green area for the dogs with doggy poop bags provided. When we checked in the lady gave me a map and circled some dog friendly places we could visit. Definitely a winner! 🐕‍🦺🐕

  Awesome hotel!

  This place is great! Very close walk to Central Ave and literally across the street from getting on the trails. One of the natural springs to get cold water is super close as well. This hotel is very dog friendly and I felt Gumbo was welcomed and not a burden like some places can seem. Definitely the best dog friendly place I’ve stayed!

  Fantastic Location & Super Dog Friendly

  This place is right in the center of everything: trails and downtown. We could walk anywhere with our dog. Really nice rooms and very affordable for the location. Would definitely stay here again!

  Great location and great for dogs

  The grassy area was nice and the room was clean. The motel is old but nice enough and in a great location. It had a window unit A/C which was fine since were there in May. I’m not sure what it would be like in July or August.

  I like BringFido. So helpful when traveling. I had an occasion to call them for help when I got double booked by a hotel. They straightened it out quickly and had a great person working their phones. So helpful.

  We loved this hotel. It is in walking distance of everything and we’re able to take our dog with us. The rooms open to the dog area. We would definitely stay here again.

  Spot on!

  This spot was great for me and my dog - conveniently located steps away from multiple scenic hikes and quaint walks. The hotel provided a small jug so guests can take some mineral water from the self service spring right down the block. Comfy quarters and easy check in and out! Would stay again.

  Happy Doggy at The Happy Hollow

  The Happy Hollow truest is a dog friendly hotel. The location cannot be beat for a visit to Hot Springs, AK. Turns out there is a dog friendly brewery restaurant open for lunch and dinner just down the street too. Our doggie had a great time on walking around town, the nearby Garvin Gardens, and area hiking trails.

  If you are staying in Hot Springs, Arkansas and want to visit the National Park with your pup, this is the place to stay! It's an older hotel, but the bed is one of the comfiest I've ever slept in and the staff was very accommodating. Called them to let them know I would be checking in around midnight (after the office was closed) and they hooked up the key in a lock box on the door and gave me the room number.

  Great location for hiking!

  I would give the Happy Hollow a great review just for where it is located - I walked out my door and on to one hiking trail across the street and another a hundred yards down the street. If you are going to Hot Springs to hike with your pup, this is the best access.

  The room itself was fine. Cute, definitely a budget room, but with some nice touches.

  Perfect location for walking with my Aussie

  The hotel was extremely quaint. It took me back to the fabulous 1950’s. Everything was so wonderful and the proprietor and his staff were the best. My Husband, with our Aussie in tow, took several hours to explore Hot Springs, which was perfect since we are training him in his job as a ‘hearing impaired assist’ Service Dog. I recommend the Happy Hollow because it truly is a Happy home away from home!

  I loved this place. it was clean, dog friendly and in an awesome location. We stayed for 3 nights and would stay there again. It’s got character for sure, not super fancy but best stay for the budget.

  Not the nicest rooms ever but great for dogs.

  Very dog friendly place. The rooms have an outside entrance with grass right outside the door. It’s across from some hiking trails and an easy walk to the bathhouses. The only downside is that the mattresses aren’t very comfortable and the room had a strong mildew smell. So your dog will love it but depending on your threshold for room niceness you might not.

  It is just GREAT! Great location, outward appearance/landscaping, small # of rooms, quiet, safe, good parking, comfortable bedding, great bathroom with refurbished old features remaining, good toiletries, great staff, economical. I highly recommend it.
