  Nice relaxing stay

  Timberlodge has a new owner and has big plans for making it even more pet friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. New bedding and towels also. There are dirt roads all around but the lodge will provide you with towels to help clean paws. The rooms are built in an inner circle so it provides for reducing the sounds coming from the highway. We like the ability to cook in our room. Lots of conveniences nearby and sites to see.

  Nice room with some issues

  The Timberlodge Inn is an old motel which we knew. The room we had was nicely remodeled with a pine theme and granite countertop, spacious and clean. We had the kitchenette unit which was good as that side of the room was the only place we could plug in our laptop with a 3 prong outlet. The bed was very nice looking, however it was very wobbly. It swayed with the slightest movement. We thought it would fall apart during the night. The fitted sheet kept falling off during the night. The curtains barely covered the one window. The other was too long for the noisy heater. The TV had minimal volume. There are people living on site it looked like and they were talking outside our room and playing music until around midnight. Made it hard to sleep. There are a lot of dogs running loose on the property and not picked up after. Don’t think we will stay there again.

  Convenient & Clean!

  Stayed one night with my two pups, after a four hour drive (and working all day.) While the office was closed when I arrived at 6, there was a number on the door that I was quickly able to call and a very nice woman quickly let me know which room I was in and I was able to get right in. the room was ver large, clean and upgraded with all the amenities I needed. I loved being able to back right up to the door and unload. Do NOT let the old school front of the motel look fool you as the interior courtyard has a mountain kind of charm and the room I had was comfortable, clean and I felt very safe (104).

  Dark and Dirty

  Room dirty, smelled, bed uncomfortable, overpriced for the accommodation. Water didn’t run in the sink, sheets were thread bare. I was locked out of my room and the manager came over with a putty knife to pry open the door. Will never stay or recommend the place to anyone.

  Beautiful Area

  My only issue is that the smoke detector along with items from past customers where thrown into the side desk. We stayed here with our dogs for about 4/5 days we had a Queen suite 2beds kitchenette the bathroom was beautiful and it was clean. The kitchen area was clean the mini fridge was not as clean as it should’ve been I cleaned it myself and the Dawn soap that was left for us was mixed with some other type of chemical it is entirely possible that whoever stayed there before us poured this chemical into the Dawn dish detergent but I doubt it since the entire room shared the smell definitely very strong it wasn’t Pine-Sol but it was something very chemically distracting . We didn’t use the kitchen(stove, plates, microwave etc...) are during stay I only used the mini fridge to store skincare. We primary used the room to sleep and shower since we were constantly visiting family in Phoenix and Flagstaff and Sedona. The areas around the grounds are beautiful and the couple who owns the grounds are very nice and we’re kind to us. I’m not sure if they have dog poop bags I keep a lot of these in the car so I never asked them if they had any. There is a lake nearby and I’m dogs really enjoyed playing and running in it. The beds were really nice and we slept so good it’s also very quite a night which is a plus. My husband wants us to give them another chance and we will,

  Great Location

  The room was very large. Our room was right across from the grills so it made cooking dinner easy. Everything was clean and well maintained. The only things we did not like was the pillows were a bit thin, the towels were small and we were by the vending machine. However we would stay there again.

  Great place to stay

  Our babies had a blast... Great location right next to a lake...
