We’ll, I hate to be picky but I wouldn’t stay here again. It had recently rained, so the parking spaces in front of our room were really flooded, making it hard to unload the car. The floor in our room slanted, like the whole corner of the building needed to be jacked up. The AC was very loud, but at least it masked the toilet running (loudly) every 3 minutes for 10-15 seconds. They didn’t have another room available that had two queens, but did send someone to fix the toilet (although it still ran periodically throughout the night). The faucet in the bathroom sink was super hard to turn on, off and adjust. The grass in the small pet area was very long, making it hard to pick up the poop. The manager Ed was pleasant, and the beds were ok, but overall I’ve stayed in nicer places for less money, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

My husband and I were passing by and stayed at the Redwood Motel and had our dog with us. The reception was very friendly and understanding, I had booked the room but they no longer had a “dog friendly room” but they still allowed us to stay. Would recommend it (room was clean and stay very friendly) and would definitely stay there again if I were to be in that area aging.

Last min decision to split up our trip from Reno to San Bernadino county, with help from BringFido to search & call to secure.
Got last min reservation, rolling in after dark. Friendly, incredibly organized & hospitable - very cute town for dinner & breakfast. Perfect stay that became a visit of its own.

We stayed at the Redwood Motel for 2 nights, with our trail dog, for a day hiking weekend in the Eastern Sierras. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, plus the resident dogs were very friendly too. Very clean room, and the air conditioning was appreciated.

The people here make the motel. The rooms are small, but well insulated and quiet. The bathroom is a closet but is functional. If you’re just looking for a place to rest your head it’s perfect. The folks that work there are awesome.

Safe Stay: Redwood Motel has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
