My expectations were very low going into the hotel. After a long road trip we experienced some utterly horrific dog friendly hotels. I thought trying BringFido was worth a shot. Wow, I’m so happy I did! The Kimpton Everly was a beautiful hotel with all the amenities we were looking for. Bodie also enjoyed his stay.

Next time I head to the area, I won’t even be looking anywhere else. This will be our go-to spot, even with no dog! Excellent lobby/bar/lounge area. Nice room, nice bathroom. Everything was clean. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant was good (we had breakfast). And I just love that they had free amenities for the dog—they even had a large enough bed for my 120 pound dog. And no pet fee and no size limitation! This place was a total gem.

Loved that there was no pet fee and the staff was so nice to our pups! We were able to take out pups up to Runyon canyon and Griffith Park and had a blast. Dog friendly restaurants nearby and not too far from Downtown L.A.

As others mentioned, the area is terrible. Lots of homeless. Hotel is nice and we appreciate no dog fee, but why do all these Kimptons have zero grass areas?!

This location provides great service. They offered a clean pet bed and bowl as well as treats at check-in. It's a decent area to take your pet on a stroll during the day, but pet areas near the hotel are lacking.

The hotel itself was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was prepared well, even had dog beds and bowls for our pets! The hotel also had a gym, pool and offered to let us borrow anything we might have forgotten. Our only issue wasn’t with the hotel itself, but it’s surrounding area. The area around the hotel was filled with homeless people camping and loitering. We walked to pick up dinner at Shake Shack that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and saw a high homeless man crawl over a fence screaming and then smash a parked car with an electric scooter. Then on the way back two men doing a drug deal followed us back to the hotel. The hotel did have gated garage parking and key access for the elevator, which made us feel safe. Just the area around isn’t safe at night.

The hotel was a beautiful and indeed does allow pets. What irked me is there was no area for the pooch to relieve herself. We called the front desk and they said she could go on the small patches if dirt around the building. Two areas measuring about 2'x2'. The small green grassy area across the street could only mean the grass at the apartment complex or the underpass with homeless folks roaming. Not impressed with that part. If your dog needs an area to go, this is not the place.. The front desk also lied about having microwaves and putting me on a nonexistent waitlist. .. thats another story
