Newly paved parking lot and great staff. The rest was dark, dank, musty. Breakfast was sparse and yogurt had expired. Coffee was wanting. But the staff were really nice. Wouldn't stay there again though.

Right off the freeway. Rooms are spacious and quiet. For our trip it was a perfect halfway stop. Comfortable bed, clean room.

The facilities were clean, even the dog potty area. They put us on the ground floor, which was convenient. Breakfast was okay. The only issue is that they deactivated our key while we were still loading the car (well before checkout time) but housekeeping let us in, so it worked out.

The staff was very friendly and the facility with pool and breakfast were great! I didn’t have a chance to use the gym but common area was clean. I wish there was a grassy area for the dogs, but I won’t take a bone off for that since everyone was very friendly there.

Friendly staff and good location for a long drive, and they have a patch for dogs.

1) couldn’t open room door -my husband could, about 50%of the time~we work out/are in good shape
2) no shower curtain
3) dried poop on floor-disgusting!!
4) strange liquid on nightstand-ugh!
5) 2 cans of opened soda in fridge!!
6) floor lamp didn’t work
7) when put hand on upholstered chair near floor lamp to reach it, got a gash from a nail or sharp staple or something-drew blood!
8) very awkward bathroom-if the door’s open you can’t get to the sink; if you want to leave light on as a night light the fan has to be on.Doubt if room change would’ve been better, plus what would they have done? Wiped up goo, picked up poop, put in a shower late at night? Low pet rate but not much in the way of pet area. Rating of one bone instead of zero b/c front desk Rhonda was very nice, and beds and towels were clean, pillows comfy, and not harsh. Carpeted floor not stinky. The fridge and microwave worked, although it froze the lettuce. They gave 500 points for our issues, although will never stay there again and doubt “Choice” hotels now in general. Rio Del Grande on our way back was great.

Good place to drop in for the night. Clean, quiet and welcoming host. Morning pee-pee run was a hike to find suitable spots.

When I came in, it was 125° outside. The staff immediately put down a bowl of water for my dogs. A few minutes after I went to my room, a staff person knocked on the door. I had forgotten my hat.
