The Glen Morey House has really come to the rescue of evacuees from the Caldor Fire. The have taken in many evacuees and raised funds to help pay for their rooms. I have been staying here for several days and it will be a few more before my evacuation ends and I can return home. I have enjoyed their wonderful breakfasts and my cocker spaniel is also enjoying his time here. I highly recommend staying here, especially when you aren't evacuated from a wildfire.

The Inn is very cute. eries of rooms tucked throughout the house. Living room nice for meeting others and reading/resting; great front veranda to sit and enjoy outdoors. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Short walk to a walkway over the freeway and you are in downtown Placerville enjoying the Oktoberfest or other gatherings without having to worry about parking in town. Breakfast is included and in the evening there were cookies set out to help yourself. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. Will be returning!
