We loved staying at Elktrace B&B, Evelyn was so welcoming not only to us but to our Beatrice as well. They owners have two dogs, Bear and Schatzie, both of whom were very friendly to our Bea. The lodge is at the end of a two mile gravel road which made it remote enough that we felt we were away from it all, but close enough to get into Pagosa Springs proper with just a short drive. Lots of places to walk your dog and enjoy this beautiful part of Colorado.
