Inn at 500 Capitol accepts three pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 per pet, per week. In the penthouses, the pet fee is $100 per pet, per week. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and pets may be left in the room unattended. There is pet food on hand if needed. Bowls, a bed, and treats are available in the room. Pet friendly floors lead back to the pet relief areas with trashcans and bags. There is also a large park next door for longer walks. We arrived with our pups very late at night and had been driving for hours. The staff that was there at the hotel were patient with us and understood what we needed. The room itself was excellent; comfortable bed and had our breakfast brought up to us in the morning. Both of our pups enjoyed sleeping in the room with minimal noise in the hallways. Would definitely plan on going back to this hotel again to be a guest. Absolutely recommend for any visitor to book here with or without pups.
We loved this hotel for being a wonderful and nice boutique hotel in the middle of the city. However, when it comes to dog friendly… it’s a little lacking. It was more of a hotel that allowed dogs rather than dog friendly. They had a specific dog floor where all guests with dogs would be but it was like the 4th or 5th floor… very inconvenient for two dogs having to go potty a lot. You would think they would put the dog floor on the 1st or 2nd floor. We weren’t close to an elevator so we had to go up and down numerous flights of stairs but even if we were close to the elevator you had to walk a bit to get to green space for your dog to go potty on. The best green space we found was by the hotel parking valet garage. There was a park across from that so if you don’t mind walking a little it’s there. Again, not terrible but definitely not thinking about people with dogs. Overall though, this hotel is awesome! Will we stay again? Probably, but just wanted to clarify the little inconveniences we had with our fur babies.
I have 2 big GSDs, staff were very kind and patient. The hotel and rooms were very clean, creatively decorated, the layout of the rooms and amenities were extremely nice. It is very close to a huge park where you and your furry pals can walk for hours. It really was over the top awesome and I’d definitely stay again!
The Inn at 500 is a great hotel. Excellent, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and terrific restaurant with room service. You and your pet won't find a nicer hotel in Boise. We will never stay anywhere else.
