Very dog friendly

Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Cottonwood

We absolutely loved staying here with our two big dogs (a 75 pound Sheepadoodle & Bernedoodle puppy)! It was a super easy check in and they put us on the first floor right next to the door to the pool that lead right out to where you can walk to a big green space for the dogs to go potty. They had trash cans to put dog poop in the green space which was nice because not all places have a designated dog poop trash can. We’ll absolutely stay here again if we visit SLC or are passing through and need a place to stay the night.

Stunning hotel with a few inconveniences

Inn at 500 Capitol

We loved this hotel for being a wonderful and nice boutique hotel in the middle of the city. However, when it comes to dog friendly… it’s a little lacking. It was more of a hotel that allowed dogs rather than dog friendly. They had a specific dog floor where all guests with dogs would be but it was like the 4th or 5th floor… very inconvenient for two dogs having to go potty a lot. You would think they would put the dog floor on the 1st or 2nd floor. We weren’t close to an elevator so we had to go up and down numerous flights of stairs but even if we were close to the elevator you had to walk a bit to get to green space for your dog to go potty on. The best green space we found was by the hotel parking valet garage. There was a park across from that so if you don’t mind walking a little it’s there. Again, not terrible but definitely not thinking about people with dogs. Overall though, this hotel is awesome! Will we stay again? Probably, but just wanted to clarify the little inconveniences we had with our fur babies.

Allows Dogs But Isn’t Dog Friendly.

Hotel Andaluz Albuquerque Curio Collection by Hilton

I wanted to love this hotel. Honestly I do love this hotel if I didn’t have a dog with me. It’s great for individuals who want a boutique style hotel for an affordable price right down town. however, it’s not dog friendly. We asked about a space for our dog to pee (every place we’ve been had a courtyard or something) and they were like “oh uh go across the street and there is some grass.” Well across the street were lots of homeless people who weren’t the friendliest. Additionally, every hotel we’ve been at has tried to put us on the first floor because of how often we’d be going out but this hotel put us on the 10th floor. Overall, again it’s a great and beautiful hotel for people. Not great for dogs.

LOVE THIS HOTEL SO MUCH!

Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel

We are staying in Salt Lake City for a week and heard great things about this hotel for fur babies. We have a 10 week old sheepadoodle puppy and wanted to make sure she was comfortable while traveling. We always call and let them know we will have a dog and that they go ahead and add the fee to our bill before checkin. We arrived and the check in was smooth. We were given a room on the first floor with courtyard access from our actual room. We have a sliding door that pops our right to the courtyard with tons of grassy areas for your fur baby to do their business. Overall, we love this hotel for our girl and will definitely be coming back!

GREAT HOTEL FOR DOGS!!

Hotel Parq Central

We were so excited this beautiful hotel allowed dogs! We brought our 12 week old puppy with us to travel and she was treated like a queen! I do recommend calling ahead and telling them you're bringing a dog so they have everything ready for your fur baby. We got there and they didn't have anything in our room for her so we just went to the desk and ask and they gave her a cute hedgehog toy, a roll of poopie bags, a handful of milkbones, and typically they have a bed but didn't have one available. No worries because we travel with one. What we LOVED is we were given a room on the first floor that was right next to the door to the stairs to pop out to their courtyard with a grassy area for Olive to do her business. Overall, we loved this hotel for us and for our sweet baby!
