  Good dog-friendly hotel

  Staff friendly toward dog, who was welcome in the bar area. Plenty of milk bones in the lobby and waste stations on the grounds.

  Best doggy hotel I've stayed at

  We stayed at a room near the stair far far away from traffic and elevator! Perfect for my dog as it keeps him from hearing strange noise. Everything was cleaned meticulously. The staff was great. Location is great. Plenty of room to walk your dog and a grass area to play. The bar was also amazing. We had outstanding local cocktails made by the friendliest bartender while having our canine son sat on the cool concrete floor next to us. We had a great time and so as our dog. This place deserves more than 5 bones. We will stay here again on our road trip.

  Pugs first road trip

  They were very patient with our dogs, as they were quite vocal about their first night away from home and their familiar surroundings. I loved the modern decor, as well as the friendly staff that greeted us upon arrival.

  Poor management

  Lovely staff and nice appearance. However this was supposed to be smoke free. At about 2am my room was filled with cigarette smoke that left me coughing and unable to sleep. The night team was unable to do anything at the time. After contacting the management who was out for the weekend, I got no appropriate response. This person asked if anything was done to rectify the situation. After I responded that nothing was done, then there was silence. So beware, they are not as smoke free as they claim.
  Wish this wasn't the case, it would have been otherwise lovely. However I lost many hours of sleep and had an irritated throat the next day. I will never return.

  Convenient, Clean, Comfy

  The front desk staff were so friendly! There was a bowl of dog bones and water near the entrance as well. The room was perfect - modern, clean, cozy, and comfy. The location was close to highways and shopping/restaurants. If we need to stay in Louisville again, we will be back.

  Amazing hotel for dogs and humans

  Exceptional stay. Excellent front desk staff. Quick check in. Very welcoming for Ollie my Malshi. If you travel with your best friend you know how daunting it can be and the looks you get for bringing your dog. Not here. Very professional gave me a fresh water bowl as soon as we checked in. The hotel is boutique style. I was so comfortable I extended an extra night. I can’t say enough great thing about our stay. Very clean, no lingering pet smell from any dogs in the room before. They put all dogs on 1st or 2nd floors which is nice not having a long elevator ride. Again very professional staff! I will stay again!

  Fantastic Rest Stop

  Very nice hotel with a fun feel/vibe. No issues with checking in my pet who clearly was bigger than their written policy. The room was modern and comfortable all around. There was a wonderful large grassy area behind the hotel for walking the dogs for bathroom breaks. I would definitely stay here again!!!

  Nice and clean!

  Our first time at the Aloft and will certainly stay again. Very accommodating and a nice view for our little fur baby. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

  Great area to walk the dog! The hotel is cute and my teens it was awesome. My only complaint is that the hall by the ice machine reeked of pot and the ice machine area had a bunch of trash. Would I stay here again? Yes!

  As pet owners, we're often relinquished to bottom of the barrel hotels or outrageous pet fees. This place is neither lacking or expensive. In fact, there is no pet fee and the room is trendy, comfy, and inviting. We make this trip twice per year, will definitely be back.

  Very dog friendly and no fee. They do accept larger dogs if you call and get approval. Big field out back with doggie bags. 8 1st floor rooms segregated on first floor for dogs. Doors slam but otherwise great set up.

  Best Pet-friendly hotel

  Can’t believe this place don’t already have many great reviews. We planned our stay as a stop over on our way back to IL and couldn’t be happier that we found this gem. This place is recently renovated and all amenities are new and modern, but also cozy at the same time. Most importantly, super friendly staff! I held my dog when we were checking in and the concierge offered her treats. There is a water bowl with biscuits right at the waiting area by the gate. We were placed at the end of the hallway right next to the stairway and aide door, which is very convenient for dog walking. There is a large grasses area right outside the front door near the parking lot and it is fenced! Overall this is the best experience we’ve ever had with our dog at a hotel. Their hospitality and big fenced yard with waste station outcompete most luxury hotels.
