The staff is very dog friendly and welcoming! No outrageous dog fees. Green space is hard to come by in NOLA, so having Lafayette Park within a block is VERY convenient. The front desk even helped us find dog friendly places to eat and provided extra towels to help clean up our dog after a wet day walking through the French Quarter. For us, the room was nice, even though the bed and pillows are particularly firm. Laminate floors throughout and plenty of space to set up the dog crate.
They are always a great place for me and my dog Max. I was told I could take him anywhere and I did! Coffee shot, rooftop, restaurant and lobby area for a great DJ and cocktail experience. I’ve stayed there a few times with my dog and have always felt taken care of by the staff. Highly recommend!
Everyone on the staff was so kind to us and our pet during our stay. Close to the French quarter, and just a block up is a place to walk your pet and at the end of the day sit with your pet in the amazing bar. We will be back every time!!
Dogs are allowed in most common areas - the bar (very important), the coffee shop (important for breakfast). Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant (as expected). The hotel is beautiful, my room spacious, the rooftop bar and pool first class. The restaurant was not open until Wednesday (the day I was leaving) that seems to be a thing in New Orleans. Based upon this location I would go to another.
Ace won me over just as soon as we pulled up to valet! It was our first time staying in a hotel with our dog, and the staff was SO accommodating! Jaxon (our boxer/lab mix) was treated like a guest the same as we were our entire stay. The hotel is just far enough outside of the French Quarter to be peaceful, but close enough to walk anywhere and right in front of Lafayette Square Park to walk the dog. The concierge had the best restaurant recommendations, the double room was HUGE and the lobby/bar area was super trendy. Love love love! Thank you, Ace!
