We needed a fairly cheap room for a quick sleep on a road trip. Adding our dog was only $10, and we parked right by the room. Lots of grassy areas to walk our boy. Pillows were not great but the beds were comfortable. And there were two cereal choices + packaged cinnamon rolls by the front desk for the morning. Just your basic motel but don’t plan on spending your vacation here 😁.

The motel was right off the highway, yet in a safe well-lit neighborhood. The desk clerk was friendly, and the check-in was quick and easy. The room was exceptionally clean. Nice refrigerator/freezer. Plus microwave. Very dog friendly. Loved that it did not have carpet. The bathroom was well-stocked and again very clean. The breakfast was self-serve, which was nice to grab something quick before heading off early in the morning. I took a “bone” off the review, because although the “doggy” area was convenient, it was like walking in a minefield (not many people had picked up after their dogs even though there was a large trash container next to the grassy area). Also, the pillows were not the best. But, overall I would recommend The Knights Inn in Harrisonville, MO as a great overnight stay.

Had stayed before and knew rooms were poor quality but with three dogs our options are limited. However on this stay a drunken barbecue was taking place outside one of the rooms and got progressively louder as parties got drunker until it reached a ridiculous state. No attempt was made by management to correct the problem. In the morning there was trash and beer cans everywhere outside.

The room smelled musty and of cigarette smoke. The room was not well maintained. The bathroom door would not shut and the upkeep of the room was lacking. The beds seemed new and there were no issues there. The guest in the next room snored all night and actually woke us up. It serves the purpose and was clean which is why I gave 3 bones. But I will look for another place to stay on my next visit.

My stay there was great. My kitties Trini and Ziggy had a great time.
There was one item I would like to bring attention to and that was the shower curtain was way too short. Had to make sure curtain remained inside tub or else the floor would be flooded.

Bed was comfortable, room was small but clean. AC worked well thru very hot weather.
Check in was easy and staff was friendly.
There’s a large city park about a mile away for good walks with the dog.
