The people who work there were lovely. Room was huge! Set up for long term stays, full size refrigerator with an ice maker, 2 burner stove, microwave. All the comforts of home.

This was my Boykin Spaniel and I stayed at a My Place motel. The afternoon staff on check-in was accommodating and told me not to worry if I needed a few minutes after 11 AM to check out the next day because of my visit to the Truman Presidential Library/Museum. The next morning staff did not honor that accommodation. Other than that, the motel was located in a safe area with an Arby’s and other restaurants close by. There is a dog exercise and potty area next to the motel.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Charged me $15.00 more than what I was quoted at time of booking on line...not sure why!

My reservation confirmation declared that I would be paying a $10 per fee. When I checked-in, I was told that “corporate” had just raised their pet fee to “$15 plus tax.” When I informed the clerk that this was more than my confirmation stated, she told me that she would discuss with her manager. The next morning when I checked out, the manager said that he could not change the amount in their “system.” Beware, staying at this hotel.

My room was absolutely spotless. I couldn't find anything to complain about! Very nice large grass area for my dog. Staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome!

I love My Place. Excellent choice for pet people. Small kitchen in each room. Staff excellent. Gave me a room on first floor. I highly recommend My Place chains.
