Nice and clean little motel on Oceanfront. It has a private beach where you can take your dog. The employees were very friendly. We plan on going back.

The room was clean, check-in was easy. We were super comfortable with our two pups, one big and one small. I would stay again. The entry to the beach was amazing; take a beach break or use the grills, pop back into the room. They sold ice for a dollar up front. We stayed an extra night.

Accommodations were bare bones. Fido was relegated to the beach for her business. She did meet friends next door, which is a plus. Sunrises are amazing however.

Great location on the ocean! Clean rooms, very welcoming staff, fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Accidentally booked 2 rooms, but got a call checking on that and got it take of care of easily. So grateful to have a nice place to stay with our dog.

Cutest little motel on the water. Nicely decorated and simplistic. Not good green area for dogs but you are able to take them directly onto the beach but please clean up after your dog! Your room will be sandy, no getting around that. There is a broom in each room to tend to that. Very clean rooms! Bed was comfortable.

Great location, Jim and the staff were very friendly, room was clean, renovated, basic amenities provided and were enough especially for a few days. Pets are allowed and the room was spacious enough for all of us. It was perfect to have our room literally walking distance from the beach. The location is central for shopping, eating, wildlife preserves and more. This was our first time to Nags Head and we'll definitely be back and we'll be staying here again. Thanks for the great memories.

Loved it, convenient and affordable. Only notch is the size of the shower, a bit small and hard to clean off a toddler with a waterfall shower head.

For our stay in Nags Head, I wanted to go cheap and stay at the chain hotel. I was outvoted, and we stayed at Dolphin Inn. We got a room that the back door went straight to the beach. There were so many dog owners with well behaved dogs. The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly. If we return, I am sure we will stay here again.

Contrary to how it might sound, this is not a motel for dolphins. It is a great spot for dogs and their humans! Totally renovated and right on the beach. This motel is cute, beachy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly motel! Everything basic you need. Lots of dogs in that area. Easy access to the beach. Quite area. Grass for potty breaks.

The place itself is not fancy, it has a cottage feel to it. It is very pet friendly! There is a lot of dogs here. The problem is not the motel, it's the pet owners PEOPLE NEED TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR PETS!! I really liked it here otherwise.
