Great options for dog walks, fabulous breakfast, laundry & location.

We arrived after 8pm, and quickly realized that the desk clerk was not a "regular." First of all, he did not greet me as a BringFido traveler, and when I mentioned it, he was totally clueless, and said that they had not received a notice of the booking from BringFido (unlike all of the other BringFido hotels I've stayed in). So he had selected a 3rd floor room; when I told him that a first floor room was guaranteed by the hotel on BringFido's website... again, clueless.
So then he started searching for a 1st floor room, and finally "located" one (PS: I don't think they were busy -- it didn't seem like the rooms near us were occupied). The room we ended up in did not have 2 queens, as I had reserved, but a king, so my traveling partner had to share the bed with me and my 2 Chihuahuas; not a huge problem, but not what we had planned. Then, one of the empty rooms near ours had an alarm clock start going off at around 2am, and it didn't stop until around 6am (I was too tired to deal with it -- put my pillow over my head).
In the morning, I sought out the daytime desk clerk, who seemed much more on the ball. She said the overnight guy was their Operations Mgr (learning about the desk clerk position), and he had actually told her about the situation. She knew about BringFido, but also didn't seem to know that the hotel itself had that first floor room guarantee. She did agree to refund the price difference between the two rooms, and apologized profusely for the situation.
Aside from all of the above, the hotel was very clean, had vinyl plank flooring, the beds were very comfortable/firm, and the breakfast was very good (real scrambled eggs), served by an attentive cook. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and mostly comfortable. The bed was too hard for me. My senior dog was given treats and a bowl at check-in. I've stayed at places that claim to be dog friendly, but they're not. Stone Hill Norman is definitely dog friendly.

Stayed here two nights, the first night we had to switch rooms because the toilet wouldn’t flush. Other than that, no complaints with the room. There are ample green areas for our puppy to “go.” The pool area looked great but it wasn’t warm enough to take advantage of it. Workout area looked nice as well. Breakfast was typical but good. The one thing that really stood out at Stone Hill Norman was the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful, including changing our room at check-in to a ground floor room like we requested when we reserved, without us having to ask. We’ll definitely consider Stone Hill if we need to stay in Norman again.

Dog and cat were happy. We were happy. Great restaurants in area. Slept like lambs (pets & owners). 50mph winds as Olive precursor didn’t detract from our respite. Dog and cat got bowls and food. And each a toy, so nice.

Honestly my cat loved the room and actually went exploring the room and we all slept amazing! Breakfast was so good and the staff super friendly!

The receptionist Cody was amazing he went above and beyond for us and our puppies. He gave them goody bags with treats. Beautiful hotel inside and out. Nice clean area for the puppies to do their business. Breakfast was really good except the juice machine was broken so no juice. I recommend this place 100%.

The first impression of the hotel is really nice - the lobby was clean and I was instantly greeted by staff behind the counter. Checking-in was easy and I was given doggie goodie bags right away! I appreciated them accommodating my three dogs. As soon as I walked into my room I was happy - it was so nice and cold! It was also clean and didn't smell like anything at all - which is a bonus. Comfortable bed and shower (though the curtain blows inward while showering and would stick to my legs a little). Great breakfast, including scrambled eggs! Not much in terms of GF, but am prepared for that when traveling. The only negative things I have to say are the hotel hallways were a bit stuffy/warm and a few of the towels in my room looked stained (but were fluffy and smelled clean). I would stay there again!

Rooms were great, comfortable, clean. Breakfast was really good…far better than most “included” breakfasts. Staff was helpful and the hotel was very dog friendly. Highly recommend!

We loved the Best Western in Norman with the exception that there were inconsiderate dog owners that left their pups in their room unattended and their pups howled and barked for hours. Finally quit around 10:30 pm. After traveling all day it was a little stressful. So technically not the hotel's fault but it would have been nice if they contacted the owners. Other guests were upset and complained to the front desk.

We arrived at this hotel after a 12 hour drive. Friendly reception. Lovely clean large room. Breakfast was excellent with each item wrapped individually. Could not be happier- price was very fair!

Best Western Norman was the first hotel we stayed in bringing our puppy. We were all welcomed by the staff. The room was clean and comfortable and conveniently located near an exit on the first floor. Loved that the flooring was pet safe because it seemed like it would be cleaner than carpet. Breakfast was good and we were able to eat outside with our dog. More outside seating would have been a bonus.
After this stay, we sought out Best Western Plus for our trip. - MikeNov 25, 2020So much open space--and super clean
We chose this spot because it's pet-friendly and sited in acres of open office-park lawns. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the room was spotless, and our pup had all the room to run around she needed. A fantastic choice at a reasonable price.
