  A pleasant surprise

  I've stayed at other motels in this chain and made a resolution to never stay at a Motel 6 again. However, given the location, price, and no pet fees, I broke my resolution and am glad I did. This motel is "basic," no frills, shampoo, microwave, coffee maker, etc., but super clean. Unlike other reviewers, we had a room on the ground floor, no stairs. And why someone is claiming they paid a pet fee - they must be talking about another place as there are no pet fees here. For a night's stay, it was just fine, and my pets and I look forward to staying here again.

  Great potty place but other issues

  My dog wouldn't go up the metal stairs and we had to relocate after my other dogs had already been in the upstairs room. We had to pay a cleaning fee and for a microwave and fridge in the new room. It wasn't much, but felt like a nickel and dime after we had paid a pet fee already. There was a mouse in our room that was very active starting around 5am - kept me and the hound dog awake :)

  Great for a night

  First floor rooms are perfect. Rooms are bare-bones, but clean. Manager was friendly.

  Everything was decent

  The location was great for us as it was right off the highway. The room was updated and clean. The beds were hard, but not terrible. The biggest issue is all the dog rooms are on the second level and dogs have to go up metal stairs to get there. Neither of our dogs like the metal stairs on their paws and our senior dog has trouble with stairs. So, that was the only really disappointing thing. Other than that, it was good.

  Good for dogs

  No pet fee here, which is really nice. There is a really good pet potty area here with a large area of thick grass and potty bags. The room was large and clean. The beds were fine. There is no breakfast but plenty of coffee.

  Easy and fast

  We (2 adults) had an uneventful experience with our 2 dogs. We only stayed one night. The location is a bit secluded so it was quiet. The room was LARGE and had newer flooring and furniture. Everything was clean. No amenities besides parking but when you’re staying one night, what else do you need?

  Nice staff, big room

  Motel 6 is basic: no shampoo, no breakfast (but there is coffee). But the room was really big and clean, and the staff were super friendly.

  Motel 6 is great!

  This is an unassuming gem. The hotel is very clean, well-managed and was a perfect stop on a long-haul drive. We would definitely stay here again.

  Large, clean room

  What a pleasant surprise! We are fairly new to traveling with our large breed, 45 lb, 18 week old puppy. The room easily accommodated his large travel crate, our 2 mountain bikes, and all of our luggage, with plenty of room to spare. Bathroom has a full tub and shower and was the cleanest bathroom out of our last 6 days of travel. Furnishings were basic, but that was ok with us. The vinyl flooring was a plus. Large green lawns out front with plenty of poop bags. Parking was easy. We travel through this area frequently, and this motel will become our regular place to stay.

  Great place!

  We stayed with our two dogs and it was wonderful. Undoubtedly the cleanest room on our trip. It was spotless and the hardwood floors were the best! The staff was so nice and it was great to have green space with doggie bags available. Great location and we will for sure make this a usual stop when visiting the area.

  Met my needs in snow and mud

  The room was on the first floor and I could park my car near the door. There was not carpeting, which I loved with two collies. The room was sparse but there was lots of room for the dogs. There was a great dog park a couple miles away. There was a large, well-lit grassy area in front of the hotel for the dogs. This hotel met our needs for our stay.

  The room was clean with comfortable beds. Lots of room for our dog to exercise and go potty. The parking lot was well lit and quiet. I would stay again.

  We recommend walking to the Sweet Wife Bakery! There is a good amount of grass around the hotel.

  Excellent stay

  Just a stop for one night while traveling. Was very nice. Rooms recently updated and clean. Perfect for us with our dogs. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

  Great spot to land for the night

  Owner of Hotel was very sweet and helpful, rooms were updated and clean and very quiet. There is a great dog park just 2 minutes down from the hotel. Our dogs loved it and had the place to ourselves.

  Best Motel 6

  This was the best Motel 6 I've ever been to. It is what it is. Basic and cheap. But it looked like it had been recently remodeled and was super clean. For how cheap it was, it was perfect. And no pet fee. I'd stay here again.

  Has a nice play area for dogs. Rooms are clean and have no carpet. Bang for your buck. I loved that the location was easy from the highway but far enough from the “city” to be a quiet place.

  It’s a Motel 6. Decent but the construction doesn’t allow for a quiet night if anyone is above you! Sounded like livestock were in room 203.

  Great room for 4 dogs!

  This was our last stop before heading home from our 7 day road trip. Of the 6 hotels we stayed at, this was our favorite. No carpet, door on the outside of the building instead of having to bring the dogs through a building to our room. Good areas for potty, and a mini golf course! We were not charged for our dogs so that was another positive. The room is basic but it was perfect for us.

  Motel 6 is bare bones

  Positives— our room was clean and we slept well, and there was a convenient area for the dogs to poop in with poop bags.
  Reality— this was the most stripped down room I’ve ever stayed in. No rug, furniture, no clock, coffee maker, and not even a warm enough blanket on the bed. Glad I had one in the car. This might be a Motel 6 policy or it may be a reaction to COVID, but it was uncomfortable to say the least. I’ll never choose to stay in a Motel 6 again. I learned a lesson!

  All Around, Great Stay

  Cheap

  Dog area was mostly weeds. Room was not ready when we arrived. They said the gas went out couldn't dry sheets and blankets. Advertised satellite but there was no tv channels. They said Direct TV can't figure out what is wrong and is sending a service truck. No microwave or fridge. Food delivery was only by a 3rd party company for an extra $6. Nothing special at all for the doggy. It was just a plain room.

  Great Stay

  This was one of the best Motel 6’s I have ever stayed in. Great area to walk dogs and Darryl’s willingness to help us get the van and trailer into the parking lot was a lifesaver. Very clean and the room was spacious.

  Good Budget Motel

  Giving 3 bones as this motel is still under renovation. Rooms are pretty decent for a Motel 6 but the loud heater didn't get warm enough, tv had bad reception, bed typical Motel 6 and non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. However this is a Motel 6 so expectations weren't high lol. On the plus side, plenty of grass for fido (in my case, Chica the Chi), and the large room had a sofa, fridge and micro. Good deal for the price.
