The hotel is right across the street from the most beautiful beach. Beach access is easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Balcony was large and had a great view of the ocean. The fireplace was a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of space on site for dogs to walk. Or go to the beach! It's right across the street.

The views! Our pup loved walking on the beach leash free! She got the zoomies” many times! We love beach walks and for her to have such Freedom warms our hearts! The rooms and property are well maintained and the staff welcoming! So close to “Old Town” and the waterfront area. Can’t wait to return!

The view was great and the staff welcoming. The beach itself was gorgeous. The room had a lot of deferred maintenance, like broken tiles. I love rustic places with a cabin feeling, but this place needed some basic repairs.

You can’t find a more amazing view from your room than here. The dog-friendly rooms are a little worn, but they are friendly! And you can’t beat walks along the bluff or runs on the beach!

This place was so great! Ample room for the pup to roam on the beach and around the quiet neighborhood. Poop bags and treats provided. Extra sheets for the pup were given to us too. Loved this place.

We love this place, this is our 4th time here and we are never disappointed. We bring our dog and the location so close to the beach with easy access with the stairs is unbeatable. The staff is friendly and the room coffee tastes great to savor with the view. We will be back.

This is my second stay at the Sunset this year. Great location for a dog friendly motel--just walk the dog to the beach! This time I stayed for 3 nights in one of the "rustic" rooms, which as it sounds, with my only wish being for a better shower head--tons of water pressure in the tub, severly limited by the head. I probably would go five stars but Oregon Coast lodging is just overpriced relative to how nice they are.

I called it my dorm room by the sea while I was there. The view was spectacular but the room was old and run down. The beach access just adjacent to the room had been washed out the week before and no one told me before I checked in or how to get down to the ocean. A discount should've been given but absolutely no reparations were made. Most of the staff at reception was helpful and accommodating except for the person who neglected to inform me about the blocked beach access when I checked in. The bathtub was cracked and repaired with glue but the room was clean. Dogs must be with you AT ALL TIMES fyi.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The room was clean. The towels and bedding were soft. There's grassy areas everywhere that the dogs are actually allowed to walk on. There are outdoor hoses to clean off the beach. They give you bags, treats, and towels for the dogs at check in. There's great food nearby.
We have 3 labs traveling with us, and we were all very happy here. Highly reccomend :)
