Staff was great and the room was large and clean. The property has a washer and dryer and you get a balcony with a view of the ocean.

First, dogs are only allowed on the first floor & the 3rd floors, with no elevator available. I had opted for the first floor with the assumption that we would be able to walk into our room. This was incorrect and are actually 16 steps down from the parking lot level. (I had both knees replaced and these were steep stairs). The front desk notes twice that there were 16 stairs, but there was no option to have a 2nd floor room at that point because they were not dog friendly.
The room itself was clean, but smelled musty and the floor creaked with every step, well we discovered that the first floor of the hotel is on pier pads in case of coastal flooding. The bathroom was the worst of the situation, the door had obvious water damage and the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on the wall. The curtain didn't stop any water from going on the floor and my husband had to McGyver it to not flood the floor.
They do not want the dogs on the furniture AT ALL. While other hotels on our trip supplied a blanket to cover the bed so no damage would be done to the covers. The grass area was fine, but no poop bags, nor garbage cans are along the path to the beach. (We always carry, but thought they could include these to make it feel like they cared about your pet.) We did notify the hotel staff on check out about the issues with the bathroom, hopefully the person that I spoke with followed up with their Maintenance team.

They didn’t acknowledge we even had a dog. The room we chose wasn’t even available to pet owners; while we did get reimbursed had I seen the email sooner I would of chosen another hotel for the price. Clean rooms, decent view of the ocean.

The staff was so, so friendly, property was set up great for pottying & walking the doggy. Our room was clean and nice and the chairs were extra comfy cozy! Ocean view was a present, and we slept great, too!

This hotel was totally dog and people friendly. Right on the beach with close walking or driving to town. A pet blanket was included. We all had a wonderful, relaxing get-away. Loved the pool!

Casual & nice! Great view and walking path to huge beach....great for dogs!
The hotel itself was clean & a little on the older side. I could only get one channel on TV - but the location made up for that. Each room has big balcony. - MaureenDec 1, 2019Great Location, but.....
You can’t beat the location but the hotel really does need a remodel. I understand that the coast can make its mark on properties, but this hotel really does need some work. On a positive note, the staff could not have been nicer and I loved eating on real dinnerware, not paper.
